Key Responsibilities: Serve as the physician member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), participating in care planning and case review meetings. Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of California DEA license and CPR/BLS certification. Minimum of 23 years experience in hospice, palliative care, geriatrics, or related field. Strong understanding of hospice philosophy and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills. Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care. Preferred Qualities: Experience in medical leadership or administrative roles. Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation best practices. Bilingual skills are a plus.
