**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Internship Program at Cupertino Electric, Inc. is a 10-to-12-week program designed to expose undergraduate and post-graduate students to various aspects of CEI's core markets: Commercial, Data Center, and Energy & Renewables. The program offers students unique opportunities to contribute to real-world projects and make meaningful industry connections. Although we are headquartered in California, we have major projects and offices in many other states including Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin, New Mexico, and Utah.
_Below is a detailed example of responsibilities an intern may participate in or contribute to during their time with CEI:_
+ Support Crew Foreman/General Foremen in the development of Job Hazard Analyses.
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs through daily field walks.
+ Regulatory compliance and audit oversight.
+ Provide regular feedback to project leadership in a constructive manner on needed areas for safety improvement and recognition.
+ Provide coaching and mentoring for employees exhibiting unsafe behaviors and provide recognition for employees exhibiting safe behaviors.
+ Support Project Leadership in the execution of weekly toolbox safety meetings.
+ Support Project Leadership in the completion of incident investigations.

Supply Chain Planning Intern Position Summary
The Supply Chain Planning intern will work directly with the supply chain planning and purchasing teams at all levels within Oatey's organizational structure. The position is designed to support demand and supply planning, inventory distribution and supply chain KPI analysis. While working in this role the individual will be expected to communicate effectively in person, through email and over the phone and will interact with plants, distribution centers, logistics partners, suppliers and other internal stakeholders. assignments to provide general support to the Research and Development group

Mechanical Engineering Intern Position Responsibilities:
* Assist Mechanical engineers with the preparation of project planning and documentation.
* Support continuous improvement projects
* Participate in product design projects including preparation of project forms and documentation, design specification and implementation.
* Assists the senior design engineers in the provision of technical support to sales, manufacturing, purchasing, quality and customer service.
* Use computer aided drafting systems to prepare drawings and documentation related to specific engineering projects.
* Create solid computer models to predict material behavior in injection molds and other machines.
* Create bills of materials, material specifications and processes specific to a project.
* Work with cross functional teams in the development of new products.

IT Analytics Intern Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of senior IT leadership, the intern will complete a variety of assignments to support modern analytics at Oatey to include ingestion of new data sources, creating new data pipelines and transformations, creating new reporting views in SQL, working alongside business teams in the creation of Power BI reports and dashboards, and further improving the overall analytics community with new training content and documentation. These assignments will make a positive contribution to Oatey as well as provide the student with “hands-on” work experience.
Expectations & Accountabilities…
Responsible for the creation of at least one Power BI dashboard addressing a complex business analytics requirement. This may include new data sources, additional data transformations, and building out the necessary visualizations.
Replace the legacy Tableau dashboard for our Service Desk with a new one created with Power BI, enhance and extend the capabilities beyond current features.
Work alongside the analytics team in addressing the analytics backlog of requests, enhancements and improvements to the reporting environment.
Create new training materials; short to-do videos, data lineage documentation, quick reference guides, and other artifacts as required.
Based on level of experience and skill, may be leveraged to do more complex data analysis and modeling to build out predictive analytics.
Depending on progress, may be requested to explore the geo-spatial analysis and capabilities in Power BI to meet market analysis requests.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Install low voltage copper and fiber optic cabling.
Terminate, test copper and fiber cabling systems using certified test equipment.
Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
Repair and install network enabled systems such as CCTV, Access Control, AV Control Systems, Central Sound, Video Management Servers, Projectors, Screens, Interactive Displays, etc.
Assists in keeping building common and technology spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition.
Accomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, national and local codes and industry standards such as TIA and BICSI.
Updates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies.
Attend Toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc.
Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification.
Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of the Low Voltage Integration or ICT industry.
BICSI and/or AVIXA certification desirable but not required.

Manage EHS records per the O-I Records Management Policy.
Partner with key lines of business to support operational adoption of the EHS program into the business functions. Identify opportunities with designated lines of business to reduce injuries and promote a safe work environment.
Support the Global Organization and Corporate Campus on questions and need for information and assistance through accurate and timely feedback and problem resolution.
Assist in collaboration on training and awareness programs for new implementation of EHS compliance systems. Provide ongoing support and evaluation as to the effectiveness of training and awareness efforts.
Assist on implementation of a new EHS management system, which will include the written programs, audits, and procedures for multiple buildings.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Install low voltage copper and fiber optic cabling.
Terminate, test copper and fiber cabling systems using certified test equipment.
Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
Repair and install network enabled systems such as CCTV, Access Control, AV Control Systems, Central Sound, Video Management Servers, Projectors, Screens, Interactive Displays, etc.
Assists in keeping building common and technology spaces in a neat, orderly and safe condition.
Accomplishes work in accordance with blueprints and specifications, national and local codes and industry standards such as TIA and BICSI.
Updates as-built drawings as necessary, according to department policies.
Attend Toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency in addition to any other recommended topics such as harassment prevention, ethics, etc.
Obtain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification.
Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
