Operates all coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems - familiarization with Nordson systems a plus. Effectively performs all duties of a powder coating sprayer, including but not limited to surface preparation, powder coating application, curing, and inspection for acceptable finished product. Ensures that all components are produced and coated efficiently and are consistent with company established quality and delivery goals. Loads and unloads parts in a mainline or custom booth setting. Working knowledge of the mechanics and basic repair of powder coating equipment. Proper cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment, and 5S readiness of work area. QUALIFICATIONS High school level education or equivalent specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
