Tri-City Extrusion, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of
Aluminum Extrusions for Commercial and Industrial Markets.
We have an immediate opening for a Quality Control Technician.
This is a great opportunity to work in our core business in our growing operation.
The position duties include:
Performing dimensional layouts and aesthetic inspections of prototype & production parts utilizing blue-prints and various gages.
Performing Mechanical Properties testing to ensure metal integrity of extruded aluminum products.
Facilitating calibration of test and measuring equipment.
Performing process audits on a periodic basis.
Successful candidate must be a self-starter with good math skills, basic computer skills (Microsoft Office), ability to demonstrate proficiency using various gages and blue prints with good attention to detail. High School diploma or equivalent required, prior experience in manufacturing quality required, ASQ certification a plus.

What You'll Do
* Travel to assigned retail stores to conduct visits within your assigned territory
* Audit, maintain, and install consumer electronics displays and products such as TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, and phones
* Occasionally partner with team members to complete 2-3-person projects such as appliance or TV installs
* Build and maintain positive in-store relationships

What You'll Bring

* Must own a basic toolkit (BDS provides toolkit cost reimbursement after successful completion of the probationary period)
* A basic toolkit includes a multi-screwdriver, torx security bit set, hammer, cordless drill, allen wrench, box cutter, rubber mallet, socket set, needle nose pliers, precision wire cutters, crescent wrench, easy off, putty knife, microfiber cleaning cloth, and goo gone
* Able to complete paid BDS online training courses in the required timeline before working in-store
* Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Availability and Logistics
* Flexible availability Monday - Friday, early morning to midday, with occasional weekend hours.
* Availability to work 20 hours per week minimum
* Ability to drive on behalf of the company in compliance with company guidelines with reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance
* Ability to travel within a designated market up to a 60-mile radius (BDS pays drive time and mileage between store locations)

The Impact You Will Make
The Cemetery Groundskeeper at Everstory is a dedicated, reliable and hard-working individual who understands the importance of detail and providing the highest level of service to our customers. This important role is responsible for the care, maintenance, and repairs of the property as well as the safety and security of the employees and visitors of the location. In this position, you will also be responsible for:
Performing all landscape maintenance duties such as weed-whacking, lawn mowing, etc.
Maintaining equipment.
All functions related to funeral services.
Operating machinery appropriately in a safe manner.
Installing or assisting in installing cemetery vaults.
Installing headstones or memorials as needed.
Handling the day-to-day general maintenance duties.
Handling snow removal (if applicable).
Performing other duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.

Requirements
High School equivalency required.
2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
Must possess a valid state driver's license.
This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.
