Position:
Eagle Automation has an immediate opening for a Measurement Technician to expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Fort Worth, TX area. This position will be based out of our new Fort Worth, TX office location. The candidate will be responsible for executing and supporting measurement projects, meter run installs, calibrations, call-outs, collections, troubleshooting and communicating with customers. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, reliable, demonstrate a desire to learn and is capable of adapting quickly across job functions and responsibilities. We are looking for a candidate that wants to grow and advance within our business.
Ideal candidate would have experience in the following:
- Ability connect to and navigate RTU interfaces (Fisher ROC, ABB TotalFlow, Kimray)
- Experience with valve control/measurement applications
- Calibration of pressure transmitters, multi-variable transmitters (absolute and gauge), tank level transmitters, liquid measurement transmitters, thermocouples.
- Experience with meter runs, separators, tanks, well heads, and how to optimize production on a well.
- Ability to use a portable Gas Chromatograph to pull gas samples.
- Experience with Coriolis meters, Ultra Sonic meters, H2O analyzers, and O2 analyzers.
- Ability to inspect meter runs and re-build senior fittings
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience as a measurement technician is preferred.

Responsibilities
• Travel to job sites, arrive on time to the office or job site to be available for work or travel arrangements.

• Attend a project's Pre-Scan Meeting learning the expectation and information to complete a scan trip.

• Attend and be the lead person of Post Scan meetings to present the findings of a job site visit.
• Promptly return calls, emails, and other correspondence that may originate from customers or our employees as required.
Physical Demands
• MUST be physically able to occupy and work on commercial job sites. Lifting, bending over, kneeling, and other physical activities are required for this position.
• Must not be afraid of heights: work on platforms, aerial lifts and personnel hoist required (training provided).
• Due to stringent scheduling overtime may be required to complete an assigned task.

In this role you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, troubleshooting and repairing equipment for city gate stations, propane peak shaving plants, measurement and facilities. Equipment used includes pressure recorders, demand devices, turbine/rotary meters, telemeters, SCADA equipment, gas odorization equipment, regulation, electrical and control systems. This position is covered by the labor agreement between the company and Local 2285. In addition to paid time off, health, life, dental and retirement benefits, this position also offers a competitive pay rate starting at 25.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
* Specifies, installs, calibrates, troubleshoots and repairs all measurement equipment including pressure recorders, demand and AMR devices, turbine/rotary meters and telemeters.
* Same as above for city gate station equipment & peak shaving propane plant including SCADA devices, gas odorization equipment, regulation and electrical systems.
* Performs minor installations/repairs to systems related to facilities.
* Coordinates work with other departments and contractors.
* Tests new equipment for company approval; Attends training related to all functions of the position.
Minimum Requirements
* 1 year of experience with electrical controls and mechanical principles and operations.
* 1 year utility experience
* 1 year of computer applications experience (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
* 1 year of specialty computer applications experience.
* High School Diploma, HSED, or GED
Preferred Requirements
* Associate's degree in electrical controls, measurement and system controls or other technical field
