Purpose at Ashley:

What You'll Do
Manually unload and load products repeatedly from semi-trailers
Maintain floor inventory by arranging the showroom floor and setting up incoming products, including transferring products from the warehouse to the floor and monitoring product quality
Remove sold products from the floor, wrap and store them for customer delivery, or load them into customer vehicles for pickup
Communicate with the Visual team daily or weekly to prioritize work for arranging the floor and incoming merchandise
Handle the clerical aspects of warehouse operations, including documenting product receipt
Receive, distribute, and install parts for repairing floor samples as needed
Organize and maintain the warehouse, performing general housekeeping duties and keeping the backroom warehousing area clean
Perform building maintenance tasks and complete minor repairs as necessary
Complete and submit the weekly warehouse checklist
Work to reduce store operating expenses related to warehouse functions
Fulfil other duties and special projects as assigned
Ability to communicate with others

Position Summary
The Hockey & Recreation Coordinator will support the planning and execution of youth and adult hockey programs at the Iceplex. Reporting to the Hockey Manager, this role includes coaching, customer support, administrative tasks, and event coordination.
This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00 - $28.00

Assist Hockey Manager with all Youth & Adult Hockey programs, Clinics, and tournaments.
Head Coach for Youth Rec and Camps/Clinics
Adult Hockey Committee Board member
Assists with the response to customer inquiries and concerns.
Assists with coordinating and recording registration for hockey programs.
Performing various administrative duties to include hockey programing, scheduling, USA Hockey memberships, stats, and emails.
Assist in building Iceplex youth and adult marketing database to support the hockey and skating programs.
Supervises, coordinates, and personally participates in the activities of Iceplex recreation programs and special recreation events.
Provide building support, as necessary as manager on duty.
Performs other work as assigned.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience working with youth & adult hockey programs.
Previous Hockey Coaching experience.
Outstanding ability to communicate effectively and efficiently - both written and oral.
Knowledge of USA Hockey Programming.
Strong sense of creativity and organization.
Proficient in various platforms such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Background and understanding of a Learn to Play, Youth Recreation, and Adult Hockey Program.
Sense of ownership and pride, in your performance and its impact on the company's success.
Team player with excellent time management skills.

The essential functions of this position are performed indoors. The noise level in the work environment can range from minimal to loud during events, depending on the incumbent's location, and minimal during non-event times.

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC DUTIES:

The part-time Guest Experience Coordinator will manage every aspect of their assigned events from the advance planning stages through the end of the event; hire, train, schedule and supervise all event staff; oversee building security and interact with local public safety officials to ensure events run smoothly; coordinate communication between event staff/security and delegate assignments; be responsible for and ensure overall customer satisfaction and experience.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $27.00-$29.00.

Responsibilities
Effectively lead, direct, empower, and work alongside part-time staff with the goal of creating exceptional experiences at Acrisure Arena.
Actively monitor team member interactions with guests, and fellow colleagues, to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
Serve as the lead in the escalation of guest questions or complaints, ADA services, and information to guests with disabilities in a timely and professional manner.
Create and lead events for Guest Experience staff recognition and provide continuous opportunities for staff to remain engaged.
Coordinate staff check-ins, call offs, event briefings, breaks, and post event meetings with other guest services teammates.
Serve as Manager on Duty with full autonomy for assigned events in the absence of other Management staff.
Work with colleagues on emergency planning and risk management to ensure a safe environment for everyone on property.
Maintain guest experience assets, equipment, uniforms, supplies, etc.
Collaborate with event services team members on various projects.
Respond to staff and guest inquiries and concerns during event.
Provide prompt and courteous responses to guest services questions as they arise.
Manage guest services activities (Lost and Found, Accessibility offerings, etc.)
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college/university is preferred.
1-2 years of guest services experience in a stadium, arena, convention center or other public assembly setting.
Previous experience in a guest service-based industry.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office programs.
Knowledge of operational characteristics of events, including crowd management and control techniques, fire and public safety regulations, etc.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and the ability to function and make leadership decisions in a fast-paced high-pressure environment with strong attention to detail and organization.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred but not required.
Working Conditions:
Weekly schedules will fluctuate depending on event volume; employee will not be scheduled for more than 30 hours per week.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays.
Must be available to work 90% of events throughout the year.
Frequent bending, lifting 20+ pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, exposure to loud events, and extensive walking through the building.
