Job Summary

Reporting Structure

Day to Day
* Assist with preventive maintenance and repair of all golf course maintenance equipment as directed by the Equipment Manager/Superintendent.
* Repair and maintain golf course maintenance equipment, addressing complex issues and ensuring equipment reliability under the direction of the Equipment Manager/Superintendent.
* Perform repair and maintenance tasks on all equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area for equipment repairs and ensure tools are securely stored.
* Help manage inventory levels of petroleum products, replacement parts, and shop supplies per guidelines.
* Document all equipment repairs and the purchase of replacement parts accurately and comprehensively.
* Assist in supervising, training, and scheduling tasks for mechanic assistants, as needed.
* Provide recommendations to the Equipment Manager/Superintendent regarding the need for new or replacement capital equipment.
* Assist in training grounds staff on the safe and proper operation of maintenance equipment. • Ensure daily assignments are completed to club standards, including keeping the course free of trash and debris.

What You Will Do
Conduct periodic preventive maintenance on electric and LP-powered forklifts, mobile carts, over-the-road vehicles, AGVs, and other rolling stock according to scheduled maintenance requirements
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on mobile equipment including forklifts, skid steers, manlifts, and other small engine equipment
Communicate and work with 3 RD party contractor for major repairs and work needed
Record work performed using work order systems and maintain accurate logbooks and CMMS records
Coordinate procurement and inventory management of parts needed for repairs
Work independently and as part of a team to ensure equipment availability and safety
Follow company safety policies and procedures including lock-out/tag-out protocols and use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a zero-incident safety culture

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Ability to occasionally work overtime, stay overnight, and work on weekends when needed
Maintain a valid driver's license
