Position Overview: As a Mechanic (Vehicles & Equipment) at USA SiteWorx, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of our fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and ensuring that our projects stay on schedule. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, bulldozers, excavators, and other heavy machinery. Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Preventative Maintenance: Develop and adhere to a preventative maintenance schedule for all vehicles and equipment. Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an inventory of parts, tools, and supplies; order new parts as necessary. Always maintain proper attire, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), safety vests and glasses when appropriate, long pants, hard sole/close -toed work boots, and presenting a clean and professional appearance. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, including costs and labor time. Emergency Response: Be available for emergency repairs as needed to minimize operational downtime.
