The A&P Mechanic - G650 is responsible for performing high-level maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on the G650 aircraft. This position supports a VIP/ VVIP aviation environment that requires exceptional technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and the highest standards of safety, confidentiality, and professionalism. The ideal candidate has advanced experience with the G650 platform, knowledge of G650-specific systems and modifications, and the ability to maintain both airframe and cabin systems to meet elevated customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Aircraft Maintenance & Repair Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the G650, including A/B checks, cabin systems maintenance, and Gulfstream-specific modifications. Conduct inspections and repairs on high-end interiors, cabin management systems (CMS), entertainment systems, lighting, galley equipment, and VIP-customized installations. Execute component replacements, SB/AD compliance, structural repairs, and configuration-controlled cabin changes per BBJ documentation. Support AOG recovery and rapid-response troubleshooting in remote or international locations as needed. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation Ensure all maintenance actions comply with FAA regulations, company procedures, and Gulfstream-specific maintenance programs. Conduct borescope inspections on LEAP-1B engines, APU troubleshooting, and avionics system evaluations. VIP Cabin, Interior & Special Systems Support Maintain and repair VIP furnishings, luxury materials, cabinetry, and premium finishes. Troubleshoot and support Cabin Management Systems (CMS), satellite communications, Wi-Fi, Blu-ray/AV systems, and aircraft internet hardware. Work closely with flight crews and cabin staff to ensure the aircraft meets VVIP standards of comfort and functionality. Safety, Quality & Operational Excellence Uphold the highest levels of safety, confidentiality, and customer service expected in VIP aviation environments. This position performs site maintenance tasks related to fuel systems, such as identifying and troubleshooting fuel systems discrepancies, minor construction activities, preventative and corrective maintenance, and repair projects. The individual will serve under the direction of the RMMR Site Manager with duties that include performing all phases of work; working with several subcontractors or support staff; ensure compliance with all applicable construction codes, standards, and local regulations; ensuring on-site quality control and on-site safety requirements are met; responsible for all onsite and contractor-controlled documentation. *This position is contingent upon award. What You'll Do: Perform routine maintenance inspections at various U.S. military locations in the continental United States, through anticipation and planning of recurring maintenance activities. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Class I, II and III hydrant systems including other supporting equipment and appurtenances. Wear all required safety equipment. Follow all safety guidelines and notify the Manager or Safety immediately of any current or potential safety issues. Perform all required inspections. Follow all environmental regulations. Dispose of chemicals, trash, etc. in designated areas. Recycle when required. Notify the Manager immediately of any current or potential environmental problems. Keep the shop area and all tools, shop vehicles, and equipment neat, clean, and in good repair. Clean work area at the end of every work shift. Maintain security of all company equipment and tools at all times. Notify the Manager of any problems. Drive shop vehicle to various plant sites, road calls or other sites of broken equipment.
