Complete assigned performance-based teacher education modules, participating in classroom observations and instructor evaluations, and responding to student feedback to enhance instructional effectiveness. Attend and/or lead in-service training sessions, faculty meetings, and other mandatory gatherings to ensure ongoing professional development and collaboration with peers. Assist in managing the inventory of department equipment and supplies, submitting replenishment requests to the Supervisor or appropriate personnel as needed. Monitor student attendance closely, alerting the Supervisor to any absences, particularly at the first, third, and fifth occurrences, to address potential retention issues. Required Qualifications FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate. Minimum 3 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience. High School Diploma or GED. Strong command of aircraft maintenance theory and practical application; commitment to staying current in the field. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, compliance-driven educational setting. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask. Professional, integrity-driven communicator with strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Willing to work evenings/weekends as needed.
