Mechanic II Functions: The Contractor Aircraft Mechanic II, in addition to the specified corrosion functions and tasks, shall be trained and qualified as Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representatives (CDQAR) in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program 4790 and all local and command requirements. The Contractors qualified as Mechanic IIs shall serve within work centers 120 (Airframes). They shall be responsible for performing maintenance in their respective qualifications as a Mechanic II CDQAR.
Skill and Knowledge: Shall have the ability to troubleshoot malfunctions in various aircraft systems and be able to perform general Organizational Level maintenance and possess one or more of the specialties of the assigned aircraft below:
Airframe/Structural, Landing Gear, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Mechanical Flight Control Systems, and related Sub-Systems, and Aircraft Logs and Records Administration
Must be knowledgeable of technical directives, NAMP programs, and shall be knowledgeable of and understand basic supply procedures.

Possess a high degree of expertise in the control and coordination of aircraft maintenance.

Responsibility: Performs requirements in accordance with the procedures established in the PWS. A Day In The Life of an A&P Mechanic
The position you are applying for will be under general supervision. You are responsible for the maintenance, modification, and servicing of aircraft and aircraft components following the manufacturer's specification and FARS.
Essential Duties of The A&P Mechanic
Perform routine scheduled maintenance and aircraft inspection by ACC's and current manufacturers' specifications.

About the Role:
The Production Mechanic (Level 3) is responsible for maintenance of all production equipment, including but not limited to: performing changeovers, overhauls, corrective repair work, and fabricating parts. The ideal candidate should have at least 3-4 years of experience in a production maintenance mechanic role within a manufacturing environment.
Key Job Responsibilities
Reviews established production schedule at start of each shift for assigned area to determine production run, need for change-over and scheduled maintenance.
Readjusts line and changes over assigned equipment for product, material, size and pack pattern. Runs first piece of production and checks for conformance to quality standards.
Performs preventive maintenance checks during course of shift and takes appropriate corrective action.
Cleans and sanitizes equipment and all necessary parts, as required or specified.
Monitors equipment for unsafe conditions and either recommends or implements corrective actions for equipment malfunctions.
Records production delays and maintains required down time records.
Assists in training Production Mechanics (Level 1 and Level 2), as required.
Provides input on the development of specifications for new machinery.
Fabricates non-commercially available repair parts.
Basic Qualifications
A high school graduate or equivalent is preferred; plus, demonstrated proficiency or trade related schooling in such fields as welding, machine shop, industrial electricity, introductory drafting, PLC, pipe fitting or diversified applied trade experience [preferably within a fast moving consumer goods manufacturing environment (e.g. food, pharmaceutical, soft drink, etc.)].Ability to use hand tools and power tools (e.g., hammer, screwdriver, wrench, drills, grinders etc.).
