The Mechanic-Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of refrigeration and air conditioning units, equipment and corresponding control systems. The Mechanic-Refrigeration and Air Conditioning troubleshoots and repairs air handling units, dx, chilled water, hot water, humidifier systems, variable air volume boxes and all associated electric, pneumatic and direct digital controls. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Maintenance Mechanic will conduct preventative maintenance and repair work for our facility and its equipment. These tasks include installation, emergency and preventative maintenance, and inspection of mechanical equipment, conveyor systems, and electrical systems.
