These deployments and rotations may include transportation via Military Air, Military Charter, CONUS Replacement Center, or Commercial means. Living conditions may be limited to military or commercial tents, cots or bunk beds, and potentially inconsistent power/heating/air-conditioning. Will be required to work shifts to support 24/7 operations as required by the unit's mission. What You Will Do:
The Generator Mechanic Technician participates in generator improvement and repair for RSADF systems function and provide technical assistance to existing customer personnel that is covered under the currently approved TAA. Typical duties include repair & overhaul Patriot System Diesel engines, performing maintenance and maintainability demonstrations, and performing troubleshooting, fault isolation and field maintenance repair for all diesel generators and air conditioners for all RSADF systems. Performs troubleshooting, fault isolation and field maintenance repair for all diesel generators or air conditioners for RSADF systems covered under the currently approved TAA. Generator Mechanic Tech will participate in on-the-job (OJT) programs and assist the section officer in enforcing approved RSADF safety policies, procedures, and standards. Performs other job-related duties as specified by the user unit. This position is in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with minimal travel requirements. The GSEM diagnoses malfunctions and repairs Ground Support Equipment (GSE); advises and trains lower-grade personnel on diagnosis and repair of less complex repair/maintenance problems; inspects and approves completed maintenance actions; solves repair problems by studying drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, and technical publications; uses automated maintenance data systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions; and analyzes, diagnosis, and repairs GSE using conventional and digital multi-meters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, circuit card testers, transistor testers, and hand tools.
As a GSEM, you will maintain external fuel and grounding systems, perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE and inspect, test, and operate GSE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation. You will also service equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air as well as diagnose mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test equipment, and technical publications.
Our GSEM will also be responsible the following:
Disassembles and assembles malfunctioning GSE accessories and components
Removes, disassembles repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstalls GSE components and accessories
Stencils and marks GSE in accordance with technical publications
Stores, handles, labels, uses, and disposes of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with all state, local, and federal environmental standards and regulations
Prepares GSE for storage and mobility deployment
Operates, cleans, inspects, and services GSE towing vehicles.
Maintains vehicle records
Maintains and updates paper and electronic equipment records
Provides dispatch service for GSE, including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations
Practices good housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Damage prevention, and safety at all times
The basic requirements of the position include, but are not limited to:
Diagnoses, repairs and maintains ground support equipment (GSE).
An active Class A CDL license is mandatory.
Advises and trains lower grade workers on diagnosis and repairs of less complex repair/maintenance problems.
Diagnoses all system components including electrical, electronics, and emissions related fault codes etc., in order to repair or replace faulty parts, as indicated by required testing or visual observations.
Uses automated maintenance data systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions.

Work Conditions:
Conditions will vary as most work will be accomplished outdoors as there will be work on the range throughout the year so temperatures will vary.
Activities will include 45% standing, 25% walking, 20% sitting, 5% reaching, and 5% lifting.
Must be capable of lifting 50-100 pounds assisted by other employees.
Must be able to deploy both CONUS and OCONUS.
Shift hours will vary by mission requirements.
Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.

We currently provide technical support in the Continental United States (CONUS) and occasionally Outside of the Continental United States (OCONUS) with services to deploy, operate, maintain, and redeploy relevant threat signal simulators, including unique injection jamming devices, virtual training, virtual infrastructure, and foreign commercial cell phone systems in a Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) Electronic Warfare (EW) environment in support of DoD and are currently looking to hire a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic (GSEM) for our work site at White Sands Missile Range near Orogrande, NM.
The GSEM diagnoses malfunctions and repairs Ground Support Equipment (GSE); advises and trains lower-grade personnel on diagnosis and repair of less complex repair/maintenance problems; inspects and approves completed maintenance actions; solves repair problems by studying drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, and technical publications; uses automated maintenance data systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions; and analyzes, diagnosis, and repairs GSE using conventional and digital multi-meters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, circuit card testers, transistor testers, and hand tools.
As a GSEM, you will maintain external fuel and grounding systems, perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE and inspect, test, and operate GSE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation. You will also service equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air as well as diagnose mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test equipment, and technical publications.
Our GSEM will also be responsible the following:
Disassembles and assembles malfunctioning GSE accessories and components
Removes, disassembles repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstalls GSE components and accessories
Stencils and marks GSE in accordance with technical publications
Stores, handles, labels, uses, and disposes of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with all state, local, and federal environmental standards and regulations
Prepares GSE for storage and mobility deployment
Operates, cleans, inspects, and services GSE towing vehicles.
Maintains vehicle records
Maintains and updates paper and electronic equipment records
Provides dispatch service for GSE, including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations
Practices good housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Damage prevention, and safety at all times
The basic requirements of the position include, but are not limited to:
Diagnoses, repairs and maintains ground support equipment (GSE).
An active Class A CDL license is mandatory.
Advises and trains lower grade workers on diagnosis and repairs of less complex repair/maintenance problems.
Diagnoses all system components including electrical, electronics, and emissions related fault codes etc., in order to repair or replace faulty parts, as indicated by required testing or visual observations.
Uses automated maintenance data systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions.
Maintains external fuel and grounding systems
Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE
Diagnoses mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test equipment, and technical publications
Prepares GSE for storage and mobility deployment.
Operates, cleans, inspects and services GSE towing vehicles.
Work includes cross-utilization into other positions that fall within their scope of work
Work Conditions:
Conditions will vary as most work will be accomplished outdoors as there will be work on the range throughout the year so temperatures will vary.
Activities will include 45% standing, 25% walking, 20% sitting, 5% reaching, and 5% lifting.
Must be capable of lifting 50-100 pounds assisted by other employees.
Must be able to deploy both CONUS and OCONUS.
Shift hours will vary by mission requirements.
Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills:
