    Job Description Mobile Mechanic Mechanic position will report to the maintenance manager and have responsibility of working with service persons at quarry as well as all operators, will be responsible for repair and preventive maintenance of all mobile equipment and as well will be involved in plant and dock equipment, will be willing to work all hours and shifts as are required to full-fill responsibilities, competitive benefit structure including company participating health, dental, and life insurance and 401K plan after waiting period. Mobile Mechanic-Classification: · Know the basics of starting a machine --Bleed air out of fuel/jump start · Experienced in doing the 250 service on machines · Change hyd. hoses/ O-rings · Ability to figure out basic mechanical issues · Replace fan belts · Replace light bulbs · Experienced in completing 1000 service on machines · Able to diagnose most mechanical issue · Knowledgeable in looking up parts in parts book · Replace and exchange parts. Starters, alt. and so on · Replace and wire up light fixtures · Maintain a good attendance record, have a good attitude towards the job, be responsible for minimal to no property damage. (All incidents are subject to review by management) · Complete job duties to the satisfaction of their supervisor · Trouble shoot most electrical issues · Place order for parts/correct/correct amount · Experienced in completing 2000 service on machines · Can read codes on machines · Capable of complex rebuilds/exchanges brakes, cylinders, pumps and radiators. Capable of performing, supervising and inspecting the duties of Mechanic Is, IIs and IIIs. A person in this position maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation. This worker also applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. Work typically requires a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems. A detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc. is required. Must possess the experience and ability to provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers alike, must possess excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule. This worker will be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records, and is responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts. TASK REQUIREMENTS: Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneumatic, hydraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, such as fuselage and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, rivet gun and drills. Read and interpret manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Perform phase, scheduled, unscheduled, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections. Use chemical treatment process to etch and alodine parts. Use chemical sealants. Requisition repair parts, materials, and consumable supplies through military supply system ULLS-A (E). Lead and direct small maintenance teams. Perform other tasks as directed. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: H-60 qualification and/or experience. Five to ten years leadership experience. Eight or more years' rotary wing experience. Familiarity and ability to use Microsoft Office. Familiarity and ability to use military tech manuals. Familiarity and ability to use Standard Army Management Information Systems i.e. ULLS-A (E). BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a graduate of one of the following Military Aviation Powertrain and/or General Repair, Hydraulic, Engine, Avionics and Sheet Metal Qualification Courses or civilian equivalent. At least five years of experience on military rotorcraft. Must be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift schedule as required. Your Role as a Service Technician: As a Service Technician at Tire Discounters, you'll perform various automotive services, including tire installation and maintenance, steering and suspension, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostic, drivability, and preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance services. You'll be key to ensuring the success of daily operations at your location. What You'll Do: * Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded. * Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and overall safety. * Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area. * Foster a collaborative team environment and assist as needed. Your Skills & Qualifications: * 2+ years of automotive repair experience (ASE certifications preferred but not required). * Must have own tools (tool purchase program available). * Ability to operate automotive vehicle lifts, shop tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner experience a plus). * Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs. * Valid driver's license and availability to work Saturdays. * Comfortable with occasional exposure to mechanical hazards and outdoor conditions. * Authorized to work in the USA (18+).
