Rogers Group Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to assist our team that is developing a new underground mine for our location in Shepherdsville, KY. The mine development team is a project-based team tasked with creating essential infrastructure, including access declines, ventilation systems, and ground support, to ensure safe and efficient limestone extraction.
The mechanic will perform repair work on a wide variety of equipment including but not limited to: offroad articulating haul trucks, front end loaders, manlifts, offroad forklifts, and dozers. Types of repairs will include repairs to the following components: diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic pumps, exhaust aftertreatment systems, mobile equipment HAVAC systems, pneumatic systems, electrical systems and computer diagnostics.
