Job Description Road Mechanic position is responsible for maintenance and repairs of on and offroad equipment and out on crew jobsites daily with occasional travel to the shop or office. Transportation Mechanic II Reports To: Director of Transportation Term of Employment: 12 Months FLSA Status: Nonexempt Salary Grade: 64 NATURE OF WORK An employee in this class performs complex duties in the operation, repair and maintenance of the vehicles in the school transportation program. Most work is performed based on prior experience. The employee is expected to resolve problems of medium difficulty with little assistance while others may be referred to a supervisor.
