    Supervisory Responsibilities: does not directly manage or supervisor others. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical systems used in greenhouse operations. The mechanic will work closely with the greenhouse management to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime, thereby enhancing productivity. Additionally, the role involves keeping detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working with machinery and equipment. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery and equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively. Minimum Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency with over 2 years of experience as a mechanic. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Job Setting & Physical Demands This position is primarily outdoors but may be required to work between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including various weather conditions and with dust and allergens. Position requires long-term (up to 8+hours/day) ability for walking, standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Position also requires utilization of fine motor skills, including but not limited to pinching, squeezing, and pulling. The candidate must have the ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including the ability to obtain the required certifications to operate such equipment, as necessary. Candidates also must have the ability to work at heights over 6 (six) feet. Candidate must be able to utilize and communicate through a cellular or radio-like device. Candidate must be able to work evenings and weekends as business needs arise and during peak seasons. Employee must have the ability to lift 50 pounds unaided, and regularly lift up to 100 pounds with assistance. Responsibilities Manage and execute assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of Porsche Penske Motorsport race cars in support of the above-mentioned series and a safe and efficient manner. Meeting specified deadlines for race car preparation while executing a high level of racecar preparation. Loading the race car on the transporters for safe and on-time transport of vehicle to each venue. Making the necessary adjustments to the car according to established procedures for each race and test event by collaborating with managers, chief mechanics, drivers, and engineers to meet design specifications and achieve desired results. Test engine operations, use test equipment to locate source of malfunction(s). Replace/repair damaged components and remove engine/major components from aircraft, using hoist or other lifting devices. Disassemble and inspect parts for wear, warping, or other defects. Recommend revisions to maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and ensure quality workmanship. Minimum Qualifications: Must have at least an active Secret US Government clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. Must have High School Diploma or have completed relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum. Minimum of five years of actual Aircraft Mechanic maintenance experience required. Minimum of two years' experience on MQ-9 aircraft, as Aircraft Mechanic. Shall have previous CDI, CDQAR, Organizational Maintenance experience. Must be able to inspect and operate ground support and auxiliary equipment. Must have knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 NAMP and DAFI 21-101. Must achieve a passing grade in all required courses/certifications for continued employment, as needed. Must be able to lift, carry and/or wear Military Issued Equipment in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Must have current/active State Issued Driver's License. Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid flight-line Government Driver's License.
