2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Tech Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining production/manufacturing equipment and machinery for a new start-up facility. Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. Diagnosis equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments as needed. Responsible for assuring all work performed meets Product Safety and Quality, Employee Safety, and Legality of Policies and Procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Follow specifications of blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings; install, maintain and repair
equipment, machinery, physical structures, and plumbing/electrical systems.
2. Inspect, measure, and test equipment while in operation visually (using electrical and electronic equipment) and auditory (listening for unusual sounds from machines or equipment) to detect malfunction, wear, misalignment, or other problems. Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
3. Discuss/diagnose machine problems with the Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Production Superintendent, Plant Manager, or other maintenance workers. Inform appropriate management personnel of equipment and parts needs.
4. Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts. Reassemble and test machines.
5. Clean and lubricate shaft, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
6. Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers, wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
7. Layout, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
8. Install, program, and repair automated machinery and equipment, such as robots or programmable controllers.
9. Set up and operate machine tools, such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine, to repair or fabricate machine parts.

1. Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment and perform preventative maintenance functions.

Project Management: Engages in cross-functional activities and collaborates across boundaries to ensure successful project implementation. Gathers information to interpret needs, assess requirements, and take the initiative to identify sound solutions through the application of expertise and knowledge. Must have a very strong customer service orientation with a high sense of urgency.
Quality System Compliance: Ensures the requirements of the Quality System, the Quality System Regulation (USDA, FDA), and other relevant standards are fulfilled.
Safety: Enforces Company safety policies and procedures. Responsible for the safe operation and performance of Maintenance and Facility.
Technical Documentation/Communication/Processes: Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures / Total Productive Maintenance. Prior experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.

Verifying, through proper documentation, that any part installed on any aircraft or component is approved for that aircraft or component and has been visually inspected and is free of damage or contamination.
Assure that hangar workshops and other areas assigned are maintained in an orderly manner.
Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor through the Lead Mechanic.

Checks alignments, clearances, bore size, welds, threads or damaged holes to determine what further work is needed. Uses measuring instruments including mics and calipers to check dimensions.
Examines frames, fluid ends, and all components within each major or subassembly to identify damage requiring weld and/or machine work
Where applicable, must be able to perform NDT test per GD Energy Products work instructions
Hand finishes surfaces, using burr tools and abrasive cloth to make corrections and adjust bore sizes or clearances. Uses various grinding tools to grind and polish surfaces back to a useable condition.
Visually checks entire pump and fluid end and all components to assure that all identified damage to the product has been corrected and is completed prior to release to the next production or test operation
Completes teardown, pre-assembly, builds and times various standard and specialty pumps.
Disassembles all main shafts. Dissembles and reassembles pumps and fluid ends.
May be assigned to Test Cell: Preps, installs and hook up of various standard and specialty pumps. (Diesel, Small or Electric)
May travel for field assignments, often with short notice. Responsible for compliance with travel and expense policies and for timely submission of travel related expenses. Must maintain valid driver license and eligibility to drive a Company vehicle (owned, leased, or rented). Fully responsible for the care and return of any company tools or equipment issued for use in a field job
Serves as a resource with full knowledge regarding all assembly procedures and functions. Trains new employees and mentor's coworkers; shares knowledge gained through experience
Uses overhead hoist and other material handling equipment to move and position assemblies; may be forklift certified.

Job Summary
The Field Forklift Technician will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing various Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Key Job Responsibilities
Perform routine preventative maintenance on Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair MHE including, but not limited to: Liquid Propane, Gas and Diesel engines, Transmissions, Hydraulic Systems, Steering Systems, Electrical Systems, and Brakes.
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications.
Provide Information and recommend services to the Sales team.
Manage work orders (paper and digital) for each job in a timely manner.
Perform hazard assessments and maintain a high standard of safe work practices and quality control.
Follow company and OSHA safety rules and guidelines. Avoid injuries and damage to property, loss of unused materials and clean-up of work area debris.
Completes all necessary company training in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements
Experience in repair and maintenance of: Electrical, Diesel and Internal Combustion Forklifts; Aerial Lifts; Lift Trucks; and other related material handling equipment. Minimum of 2 years is highly preferred.

Job Description
The Journeyman should be a Plumber, Steamfitter, Pipe Fitter, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Fitter or Pipe Fitter Welder who has been engaged at the trade for at least five (5) years.
The Journeyman will be responsible for performing journey-level mechanical duties in the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems (Chillers, HVAC equipment over 25 tons, Electrical troubleshooting, brazing, refrigeration fundamentals).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Break fix of all Electro-mechanical systems (HVAC, Hydronics, Appliances, Rollup doors, dock locks, air compressors, etc.)
Spill and Leak Detection system inspections/repairs
PMs on HVAC and Hydronic systems (Pumps, Strainers, Cooling Towers, etc.)
Team scheduling and material requisition
Contribute to site failure reporting (Equipment Status Log)
Mechanical project support
Chiller tube inspections and cleaning
Site maintenance/repair
Qualifications
EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
At least five (5) years of experience in the trade
EPA 608 Certification
Formal training in approved vocational schools in the fundamentals of the trade
