Subject to temperatures that range from 65 to 90 degrees in the general working environment and hotter in certain areas of the plant. Occasional outdoor activities in hot, cold, or adverse weather. Twenty-four hour working environment. Must be available and willing to work rotating shifts. Physical requirements Must pass and maintain all medical and fit-testing requirements for respiratory equipment Must be able to stand on concrete floors for an extended period, climb narrow stairs, ladders, and scaffolding. Work in confined spaces or at heights and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds during the shift. Reporting Structure * Reports to the Equipment Manager Day to Day * Assist with preventive maintenance and repair of all golf course maintenance equipment as directed by the Head Mechanic/Equipment Manager. * Repair and maintain golf course maintenance equipment, addressing complex issues and ensuring equipment reliability under the direction of the Head Mechanic and/or Equipment Manager. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area for equipment repairs and ensure tools are securely stored. * Document equipment repairs and replacement parts purchases as instructed. * Help manage inventory levels of petroleum products, replacement parts, and shop supplies per guidelines. * Provide recommendations to the Head Mechanic or Equipment Manager regarding the need for new or replacement capital equipment. * Assist in training grounds staff on the safe and proper operation of maintenance equipment. • Ensure daily assignments are completed to club standards, including keeping the course free of trash and debris. Performs maintenance and inspections on (GSE) according to applicable maintenance manuals, manufacturer specifications and FAA regulations. Research and order materials for repair of support equipment. Performs engine QEC build-up actions, i.e. assembly and teardown. Cleaning of warehouse, shops, offices and restrooms as required.
