Properly lubricates all park rides.
From blueprints, drawings, models or verbal instructions, general mechanical work is performed using a variety of hand and power tools and standard measuring instruments.
Makes standard shop computations relating to dimension of work. Selects materials necessary for the work.
Through walking and climbing along all areas of the park's rides, inspects all mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aspects through visual and auditory observations to ensure safe and proper operation. Also inspects the structures of all steel coasters.
Communicates concerns to supervisor and/or, using own judgment, makes necessary repairs. Logs and documents all safety checks and repairs.

Role Summary
The Equipment Mechanic will provide routine and non-routine maintenance support to the day-to-day Blue Hat Equipment operations. This position will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment as per manufacturer's specification. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core
EQUIPMENT MECHANIC FAMILY - CORE
* Performs routine preventative maintenance, diagnostic equipment inspections, and repair operations on breakdowns for construction equipment per manufacturer's specifications.
* Troubleshoots equipment breakdowns on site or via the phone using effective communications skills with field operations.
* Responsible for the accurate documentation and data entry for completed maintenance and repairs.
* Responsible for timely communication to internal and external business partners through phone calls and responding to emails for maintenance related questions.
* Orders parts for equipment repair using the work order system by determining manufacturer requirements and specifications.
* Receives, organizes, stores, and distributes equipment parts and supplies.

* Apprentice Program or Vocational training on equipment repair (Preferred)

Experience

* Must be able to lift at least to 50 pounds
* Typically travel is not required
* May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold)

We are seeking a fulltime Mechanical Journeymen. We are looking for detail oriented, quality minded candidates to join our team. The production plant operates 24 hours per day - 7 days per week. Mechanical Journeymen work 8 hours shifts and are onsite 24/7 to support production.
Pay is $32.19/hr after training.
What will you do?
* Performing preventative maintenance on critical pieces of equipment to ensure reliability and minimize equipment downtime.
* Repairing untimed failures of machinery in an efficient and safe manner.
* Completing lube routes throughout facility.
* Collaborating interdepartmentally with other trades to complete troubleshooting of machinery issues.
* Completing weekly planned work schedule while also supporting engineering installation of new equipment throughout the plant.
