What We're Looking For
High School diploma or equivalent, required.
Additional training beyond high school (certificate or Associate's degree in auto repair), preferred.

Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical, gas, and diesel systems.
Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams.

Comfortable using computers to access work instructions and track labor.
Experience with concrete pumps preferred but not required. Will train the right candidate.

A Day In The Life of an A&P Mechanic
The position you are applying for will be under general supervision. You are responsible for the maintenance, modification, and servicing of aircraft and aircraft components following the manufacturer's specification and FARS.
Essential Duties of The A&P Mechanic
Perform routine scheduled maintenance and aircraft inspection by ACC's and current manufacturers' specifications.
Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
Modifies aircraft systems or components following drawings, engineering orders, and technical publications.
Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories using hand and power tools.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to minimize aircraft downtime. Requires ability to travel.
Review maintenance records and flight logs to schedule prescribed maintenance checks and overhauls.
