What You'll Do
• Maintain a close liaison with the crew supervisor to provide current status of aircraft maintenance activity and planning for upcoming maintenance events.
• Perform and document maintenance and alterations of aircraft airframe, engines, and appliances in accordance with the procedures published in the BFS MPM, approved inspection program, manufacturer's maintenance manuals and associated service documentation, acceptable and approved data as applicable, and 14 CFR Regulations.
• Ensure company aircraft are maintained in accordance with the airworthiness standards prescribed by the applicable 14 CFR regulations.
• Provide after-hours maintenance on-call support for the assigned aircraft as directed.
• Ensure aircraft discrepancies are accurately documented and addressed while aircraft are in revenue service and during major inspection events.

• Possess a thorough knowledge of Federal aviation regulations, the maintenance procedures manual, the operations manual, operations specifications and other pertinent information.
• Ensure all company and personally-owned calibrated tools are within calibration time limits when used.
• Maintain company-owned local Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Mobile Mechanic 1 or 2 Schedule: 5x4, 4x5 - 11.5-hour days Job Responsibilities and Duties: At Sibanye-Stillwater, our Mechanics 1 and Mechanics 2 employ predictive and preventive maintenance techniques to ensure high availability of equipment. Mechanics maintain equipment to maximize safety and productivity. Qualifications and Skills:
Required
* Previous Mechanical experience with skills necessary to meet applicable task proficiency matrix such as troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, electrical and diesel engines with a primary focus on diesel equipment.
* Previous experience with schematics, parts and service manuals.
* Working knowledge of rigging procedures.
* Demonstrated knowledge of start-up, shut-down, tag-out and safety procedures on equipment.
* Overhead crane operation and inspection experience or equivalent.
* Consistent, effective written communication skills with attention to detail.
* Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Independent work habits.
* Must have the required tools per Sibanye-Stillwater tool list or be willing to obtain (tool allowance provided).
Preferred
* Underground equipment maintenance experience.
* Demonstrated gas/arc welding and oxy-acetylene cutting work experience.
* Computer experience.
* Planning and Scheduling experience.

The **Aircraft Mechanic I** (CH-47) performs maintenance on helicopters, excluding repair of systems according to drawings, blueprints, directives, technical manuals and safety procedures. · Removes and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components.
· Services and lubricates aircraft and subsystems.
· Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
· Performs scheduled inspections and assists in performing special inspections.
· Performs limited maintenance operational checks and assists in diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required.
· Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment.

**Knowledge & Skills**
· Thorough knowledge of aircraft systems on the assigned MDS.
· Basic knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, hydraulic press machine, and those listed in the assigned MDS Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC).
· Working knowledge of technical publications and Logistics Information Systems.
· Able to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects
· Possess the level of experience to inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance to be performed by aircraft mechanic.
· The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records.
**Physical Requirements/Working Environment**
· Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for extended periods throughout the day.
· Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
· Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
· May be required to lift/push/pull heavy objects whose weight may exceed 50 pounds.
· Must be able to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through e-mail and various software applications.
· Will handle dirty parts and lubricants.
· Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
· Must be able to pass a Respirator Physical and Fit Test qualification.
