Responsibilities

Requirements

Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain).

Essential Responsibilities:
Installs, inspects, and performs modifications and repairs to electrical power support systems such as electrical power plants and power distribution equipment.
Performs preventive maintenance on electrical power support systems. Performs major repair, replacement, and overhaul of power support system components such as diesel, multi-fuel, or gas engines, and electrical accessories of engines.
Troubleshoots electrical power support systems such as electrical power plants and power distribution equipment.
Maintains, inspects, repairs, diagnoses, and modifies aircraft arresting systems.

Skill in installing, operating, inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and modifying generators, automatic transfer switches, and uninterruptable power systems; and in maintaining, overhauling, repairing, and reconditioning internal combustion engines, both diesel and gasoline.
Skill in troubleshooting complex situations related to electrical power generators. Ability to apply shop procedures, policies, written and oral instructions, and directives sufficient to provide training to others.
Must be able to obtain an airfield driver's license; position requires a Secret Security clearance.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience in power generation equipment repairs.
Must be able to obtain and retain a Nevada driver's license.
Must accomplish OSHA 10-Hour Construction Training, maintain CPR/First Aid card, have the ability to obtain and retain a security clearance and access to the work location(s).
Must be a United States citizen, pass a pre-hire drug screening and Fit-for-Duty physical.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision or guidance, respond to service calls within the allowable time frame.
May have to drive a motor vehicle up to a 2 1/2 ton truck.

Role Overview
We're seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Specialist to support the start-up, testing, and validation of mechanical systems on a large-scale hyperscale data center project in Reno, NV. This role will focus heavily on the commissioning and functional performance of HVAC and mechanical systems, ensuring all installations meet design intent and operate as intended prior to turnover. Key Responsibilities
Commissioning (Cx):
Lead and execute mechanical commissioning activities for critical systems including chillers, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, and piping systems.
Develop, execute, and track commissioning checklists, pre-functional and functional performance tests (FPTs).
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and controls engineers to validate equipment operation and system integration.
Support and witness start-up, balancing, and integrated systems testing (IST).
Document commissioning results, deficiencies, and retest outcomes; drive closure of punch items to ensure system readiness for turnover.
Support the creation of system manuals, O&M documentation, and turnover packages.
Quality & Field Verification (QC Support):
Perform field verification and spot checks to ensure installation and workmanship quality align with design and spec.
Identify and document deficiencies prior to start-up, helping mitigate issues before functional testing.
Maintain commissioning documentation and ensure compliance with client standards and procedures.

What will you be doing?
The aircraft mechanic is responsible for performing various maintenance functions on company aircraft in accordance with all company policies and procedures as well as all federal aviation regulations.
Essential Functions
The Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic (โA&P Mechanicโ) is a working member of the maintenance organization and is tasked with completing required maintenance on aircraft in a timely manner and in accordance with policy and procedure. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

Additional responsibilities, as follows, by job qualification area: Interior Crew - remove, repair, and reinstall aircraft interiors including seats, galleys, lavatories, sidewalls, ceilings, flooring, etc.
This is a bargaining unit position with schedule, shift and pay determined by seniority. All A&P Mechanics may be required to participate in AOG field trips as outlined in the labor contract.

Tactical Air Support Inc. Aircraft Mechanic Reno, Nevada Salary rate: $30.00 - $50.00/hourly DOE Tactical Air is currently seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to join our Maintenance team. This position will support Tactical Air's fleet of fighter aircraft with over 75 years of combined experience in tactical aviation maintenance and more than 30 years of military adversary contract maintenance. The Maintenance staff are a dedicated team comprised of experienced, A&P-certified, and tactical aircraft mechanics, technicians, and logisticians who all work towards ensuring safe and seamless ground maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for the Aircraft Mechanic position will be professional, highly productive, disciplined, team-oriented, technically astute, and responsive to the needs of the company, colleagues, and customers. This position will report to the Director of Maintenance and will perform organizational, intermediate, and limited depot-level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification, and troubleshooting on all assigned aircraft, components, and equipment. This position will apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and to provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to other teammates as needed.
Requirements
* High School diploma/GED with at least 1 year of applicable work experience.
* Current work experience in aircraft maintenance occupational field, preferably in the military or with a government aviation maintenance contractor.
* Experience with high performance military aircraft (F-5/T-38).
* A&P Certification, or ability to obtain certification.
* Support Equipment Operator License (Tow Tractor, N2 Servicing Trailer, and Mobile Start Unit at a minimum).
* Valid state driver's license.
* U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
Desired Experience/Skills
* A&P certification.

* Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds (with assistance, if required).
* Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms.
* Regularly ascend/descend stairs and/or ladders.

* Diesel Mechanic school or certification preferred
* Previous experience hydraulic repairs a plus
