Your new responsibilities
Will work under limited supervision operating and maintaining assigned pieces of complex high-speed lamp making equipment in a fast-paced work environment.
It will be expected that they will become proficient at troubleshooting, adjusting, repairing and changing over said equipment in a timely fashion, meeting the product specifications and the production requirements of the department.
Will be required to utilize various forms of testing equipment, follow detailed product specifications and prints, as well as follow direction through verbal and written instructions.
Will be required to maintain the appropriate production, quality, SPC, maintenance records, and interact with machine information systems.
May assist in lower grade jobs in the department as needed.

Perform various functions by hand and utilizes hand tools to prepare hose for assembly including removing rubber to buff back ends for fittings, connect fittings to hose, apply RTV, and other assembly preparations
Sets up and operates abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment such as swager or crimper.
Lifts, positions, and removes work pieces from machines.
Reads and interprets blueprints, method sheets, process sheets, policies and procedures to manufacture a variety of rigid and flexible metal tubes.
Measures angular dimensions, radii, contours, clearances, thread lead, wall thickness, and other specifications. Performs a variety of quality tests per procedures.
Holds tape and rods and marks reference points to assist in layout.
Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, dies, and work in process.
Attaches clamps to position work piece to be cut.
Cleans and blows out dust, particles, and metal shavings from work piece prior to fabricating, welding, painting, or shipping.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications:

Additional experience with MD500 series aircraft will provide special consideration.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Mechanic II:
* Have High School Diploma or GED. Trade school graduate in heavy duty diesel repairs, and/or refrigeration
classes. Beginning level is preferred.
* Have 2 years job experience on diesel repairs, tractor- trailer, refrigeration maintenance and repairs.
* One year documented experience in fleet maintenance or one-year employment with company at upper scale of Class C Technician.
* Posses basic hand tools (up to ½" drive) and tool storage.
* Posses or acquire within 1 year from date of hire a current ASE certification in Medium/Heavy Truck Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) (Test T8).
* Possess a Valid Class C Drivers License. A Class A license is preferred but not required.
* Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head for extended periods of time.
* Possess the following certifications:
* Certification with International Maxx Force 13 Engines.
* Certification in Transportation Refrigeration.
* Brake Systems and components.
* Tractor A/C Refrigeration and Freon Recovery (609 license required).
* Trailer Refrigeration 608 license required if working on trailer units.
* Heavy Duty electrical diagnostics and repairs.
* Prefer ASE Certification in heavy duty mechanics and Cummins or Detroit certification.
* This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. DUTIES:
Assist Facilities Director in all areas, including custodial, grounds, and general maintenance as needed,
Available to work flexible hours, if needed.
Unloading delivery trucks and performing daily deliveries requiring heavy equipment.
Additional duties may include the following:
Empty exterior trash barrels, interior and exterior trash pick-up, assist with snow removal, and assist with set-up of various campus events.
Perform regular daily cleaning/vacuuming of all public, office, and classroom areas, including restrooms as assigned.
Assist with event set-up and break-down.
Make small repairs.
Snow removal
Mowing and trimming.
Fall and spring cleanup
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Director and Custodial and Event Manager.

Your new responsibilities
