Must have a valid TWIC card. Must be able to pass a physical and PFT/FIT test. Must be committed to safety and quality Responsibilities: Be familiar and be able to interpret the results of various NDE methods such as PT, MT, UT and RT. Deal with AI, client reps. and third party inspectors. Be proficient in the testing of assembled vessels by pumping water or gas under specified pressure into vessels and observing the vessels and instruments for evidence of leakage. Job Duties & Essential Functions: : Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required. Use knowledge of towers/columns, exchangers, boilers, heaters, reactors, drums, fin fans, pressure vessels, and other industrial equipment to perform duties Properly select and use manual, pneumatic, and electric tools according to tasks Hoist equipment and tools into location via bull rigging or crane. Repair and replace trays and other internal components Perform or assist with pulling bundles Repair and replace boiler tubes Fabricate equipment according to blueprints or instruction from Supervision Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural-steel members, using plumb bobs, laser equipment, transits, and/or levels. Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors. Bolt align structural-steel members in position for permanent riveting or bolting. Able to properly bolt and torque components according to equipment specifications Pull, push, or pry iron/steel equipment into approximate positions for bolting into place. Cut, bend, and weld iron/steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, and welding equipment. Help maintain a safe and clean work environment Perform all other duties as required Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 8 years Boilermaker experience in Industrial or Petrochemical setting NCCER certification a plus Knowledge of building codes, industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES * Will be familiar with USN/USAF technical publications; will be capable of conducting on-the-job training and maintenance of personnel seat/cockpit safety checkout training records and will be experienced and qualified in the removal and replacement of ejection seats and explosive devices. * Responsible for all egress system on and off equipment maintenance on Adversary F-5 aircraft. * Removes, transports, inspects, repairs and reinstalls ejection seats. * Inspects, repairs and cleans seat harnesses. * Inventories, stores, removes and replaces seat CAD/PAD explosive items. * Will also be experienced and qualified in the rigging of explosive linkages/devices applicable to seats and canopy. * Will be able to perform flow checks on egress systems; will have experience in the fitting and rigging of aircraft canopy, canopy drive and locking mechanisms. * Will be a graduate of a specialty course on the applicable ejection seat. * Must have in-depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives. * Use schematics, drawings, charts and other applicable publications to troubleshoot, repair, test and modify assigned systems. * Performs aircraft inventory, acceptance and transfer inspections. * Must be able to work day shift, night shift or weekend duty and travel as part of a maintenance recovery team or detachment as required. * Will have experience writing with clarity and technical accuracy. * Performs aircraft inventory, acceptance and transfer inspections. * Be capable of becoming Plane Captain certified when directed my management. * Perform other tasks as directed by management. * Provides technical assistance, guidance and instruction as required. * Maintains and/or completes required records and applicable maintenance forms * Become CDI/CDQAR certified as directed by management to perform collateral duty inspection assignments * Performs daily duties normally associated with this specialty. * Practice good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention and safety at all times. * Assists in aircraft/equipment movement and flight line foreign object prevention walks. * Operates SE, flight line vehicles and other support equipment as required. * Qualified to perform corrosion detection, treatment, prevention and documentation per customer/management instructions/directions on aircraft and associated equipment. * Annotates maintenance actions in aircraft forms and VIDS/MAF and NALCOMIS/OOMA. * Will have knowledge of and understand basic supply procedures. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS * Aircraft mechanic AME will have two years experience in ejection seat maintenance to include two recent years of repairing egress system experience. * The Egress Specialist must be a graduate of a military or factory equivalent ejection seat course of instruction.in their specific aircraft maintenance occupational field.
