Perform repairs and inspections, safety checks, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on diesel vehicles.
Utilize vehicle computer electrical systems to interpret failure modes to identify and adjust Engine and Vehicle Control modules
Respond to road calls for emergency repairs
Reviewing, Completing or assigning repairs identified on driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
Completing required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software programs.
Test driving trucks after services and repairs
Helping other team members with repairs as needed
Having professional and courteous interactions with our drivers when needed.
Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
What we need from you:
Proficiency in a variety of diesel vehicle diagnostic tools, preventative maintenance and repair.
Basic tool set
Class B CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days of start of position
Hydraulic experience is a plus

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Mizkan America safety policies, OSHA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
Safely perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) through machinery and equipment inspection.
Perform follow-up corrective and/or improvement repair.
Application of lubrication techniques.

Receive, review, and respond to service repair orders (RO's) per company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school diploma/equivalent is minimally required
Automotive technical school experience preferred.
Experience:
4+ years automotive mechanical experience is required.
Dealership experience preferred
ASE certified preferred
GM experience highly preferred
Diesel experience highly preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies:
Repairing - Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools
Arm-Hand Steadiness - The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
Hearing Sensitivity - The ability to detect or tell the differences between sounds that vary in pitch and loudness.
Trunk Strength - The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing. Must be able to lift 90lbs.
Must be able to stand or walk on hard surfaces/concrete for several hours at a time.

Needs to be self-motivated and stay busy. Needs 5 plus years experience working on Cat/Cummins/John Deere diesel engines. Have a good understanding on the low voltage controls (12/24v DC) and trouble-shooting techniques. Needs to have an understanding of Hydraulic circuits and components. **Job Duties**
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
+ Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
+ Maintain a service van and its inventory.
+ Process paperwork after completion of each job.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Less than 2 years related experience
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
+ Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
+ Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
+ Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
