The Elevator Mechanic is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining elevators in commercial and residential buildings. About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Boilermaker to join our mining operations team based across Leonora and Laverton, WA supporting the maintenance and improvement of our heavy equipment with a strong focus on excavator buckets, attachments, truck trays, structural components and the broader mobile fleet across our Western Australian Goldfields operations.
Safety, collaboration and teamwork are key as you carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, performing high quality fabrication, welding, repairs and enhancements to OEM standard on our new range of Hitachi excavators, Komatsu haul trucks, and Caterpillar ancillary equipment. This role is on offer on an attractive 15 days on 13 days off FIFO roster from Perth.
About You
You will be a motivated, team focused and flexible individual with a strong appetite for problem-solving and process improvement. Proven welding and heavy structural repair experience on similar equipment within hard rock mining with a deep understanding of bucket maintenance is required, supported by a relevant WA recognised Trade qualification in Boilermaking or Fabrication.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will be responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining all farm equipment, which includes, but is not limited to tractors, combines, power units and anything with a combustion motor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all tractors, sugar cane harvest equipment, rice equipment and any other equipment in the Agriculture Department's field and shop operations.
Safely and correctly repair equipment including but not limited to cane elevators, cane harvesters, tractors, air compressors, and any equipment utilized in support of agriculture.
Responsible for inspecting, diagnosis of equipment failure, timed repairs, oversee the operation of numerous lifting devices to include proper rigging procedures.
Completion of project work, performs related work such as flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, notching of metal, performs all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs), works from prints, drawings, and verbal instructions, performs standard layouts and set-ups of dimensions and tolerances, utilizes standard shop hand tools, measuring devices, and equipment, performs other maintenance-related work as required.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Will be provided a service wagon with crane, air compressor, oxy/acetylene bottles, and cabinets for tools.
Performs other related projects and assignments as business dictates.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Must have high mechanical aptitude and experience in repairing harvesting equipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to comprehend and convey mechanical information.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to read manuals, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Must have own set of tools.

+ Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
+ Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
+ Maintain a service van and its inventory.
+ Process paperwork after completion of each job.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Less than 2 years related experience
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
**Preferred Qualifications**
