Overview:
The Durham Bulls are seeking production focused individuals who are interested in joining the most iconic brand in Minor League Baseball and gaining experience in the sports industry. This position will support the game operations team through in-park game production to help create the best show in Minor League Baseball. This is a part-time, seasonal, game day position.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
* Operatecontrol room systems, including Xpressions, ROSS Carbonite Switch Board, 3PLAY replay, Music Operations,and PVP
* Follow game-day scripts and director cues to execute seamlessgameday show operation
* Work closely with the Director, Producers, and other production team members to ensure cohesive execution of the game-day show
* Communicate clearly and promptly to address real-time changes, technical issues, or last-minute updates
* Assistwith pre-game setup, testing, and troubleshooting of production equipment (graphics systems, switchers, replay devices, scoreboard components)
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in at least one of the following areas:
* Graphics: Ross Xpression or similar live graphics systems

* Understanding oflive sports production workflows and timing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

This position operates in a bus facility garage bay area in non-conditioned air susceptible to exhaust fumes and noise. Must be able to perform work requiring the use of a crawler. This role routinely uses a variety of bus maintenance repair equipment such as power tools, lifts, computers and other equipment associated with bus repairs. The position, at times, must be able to come into direct contact with school system staff, staff members of external agencies, and the community. Work is considered very heavy physical work, requiring the exertion of up to 100 pounds of force. The work frequently requires driving automotive equipment.

Individuals must be able to prioritize workloads and are required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks. Mechanic IIs can inspect Mechanic IIs and Is. This mechanic maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components, applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation, and applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. Aircraft Mechanic II (Avionics/Electrician):
Electrical Experience: Minimum of four years total experience in aircraft maintenance as an aircraft avionics/electrician with one year on F-15 aircraft. The Contractor shall have the skill to remove and replace aircraft parts and accessories/components and the skill to make adjustments and settings according to established specifications. The Contractor shall also have the skill to identify and isolate integrated systems malfunctions and analyze performance and operate integrated avionics systems to determine operational condition per operational checks. Experience using specialized tools required for military aviation electrical connector assembly/disassembly and other associated electrical terminating devices is required. Aircraft modification and operational checks experience required. Experience in electrical harness fabrication and braiding.
Electrical Knowledge: The Contractor shall have the ability to follow and accomplish tasks in accordance with existing published technical data. The Contractor shall have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications required to accomplish maintenance tasks and modifications. Knowledge is mandatory of electrical, electronic, microelectronic, mechanical and indicator principles theory, and application relating to electrical systems; concepts and application of maintenance directives; meaning of symbols used in wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics; using and interpreting testing and measuring devices; and proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials.
Other: Normal color vision as defined in AFI 48-123, Medical Examinations and Standards is mandatory for this specialty.
Education: High school diploma, or equivalent, with successful completion of related military or commercial courses. Courses in basic electronics, mathematics, general science, physics, and mechanics are desirable.

Benefits: Comprehensive package including Medical, Dental, 401k, Disability, Company-provided life insurance, and FSA.A Glimpse into the Life of an Aircraft Technician / A&P Mechanic:As the Aircraft Technician / A&P Mechanic, your primary mission is to provide aircraft window services to our existing clients while expanding our customer base and sales within your designated Regional Market. Your responsibilities include inspecting aircraft windows, assessing defects for airworthiness, repairing scratches, pits, and other window damage, as well as removing and installing replacement windshields and windows.Key Responsibilities:
Removing existing windows.
Preparing and installing new windows.
On-call 24/7 to respond to customer requests for emergency AOG (Aircraft on Ground) services.
Utilizing an orbital sander with various grits of sandpaper to restore damaged areas.
Reviewing, interpreting, and applying technical data relevant to your tasks.
Managing the acquisition of purchase orders from customers as per the provided quotes.
Coordinating service schedules with aircraft owners/operators and maintenance managers.
Completing and submitting billing information and evaluation forms to our headquarters in Wichita, KS.
Providing the necessary airworthiness documents to customers upon job completion.
Traveling as required to customer locations via ground transportation, air travel, or airlines.
Compiling weekly expense reports detailing costs for gasoline, entertainment, and customer relations.
Signing off on all work orders and maintaining part traceability records.
Conducting daily visits and/or phone communication with both current and potential customers.
Developing and expanding sales in the assigned Regional Market.
Seeking guidance and direction as needed for your duties.
Keeping your supervisor/manager informed of the status of your work.
Reporting problems and potential issues to your supervisor/manager as soon as possible.
Maintaining a neat and orderly work area.
Presenting a well-groomed appearance suitable for the role and context.
Respecting the confidentiality of company, customer, and personnel information.
Performing additional duties and tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Assisting and training other employees as required.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED).
Experience: Preferred sales experience, 1 year of orbital sanding experience preferred, auto body experience preferred, previous aircraft experience preferred, A&P license or AMT certificate preferred, sales experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various measuring devices, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read and interpret blueprints (preferred), ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
Problem Solving/Decision Making: Ability to read and comprehend mechanical and technical manuals, applying them to practical field situations. Capability to work independently and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers, delivering exceptional customer service in a timely manner.
Essential Job Functions/Physical Demands:
The physical demands encompass standing on wings, moving in and out of cockpits, and working inside and outside aircraft. Travel is a requirement, with working hours ranging from 2 to 12 per day depending on demand.
Ability to stand and/or sit for 8 hours a day.
Ability to lift/carry weights of up to 70 lbs.
Ability to twist, bend, and stoop for 8 hours a day.
Ability to pinch and grip various tools with fingers and hands, using pushing and pulling motions for 8 hours a day.
