Experience: Minimum of four 4) years full time currently employed in the field or recent experience in Automotive/Diesel truck or Heavy equipment repair, electrical repair, and diagnosis of complex CAN/Multiplexing systems with current technology of passenger vehicles and light duty pickups. Thorough knowledge of Controller Area Network (CAN) system network communication. Experience and ability to wire and/or repair any components in a complete electrical system. Additionally, post high school education or vocational certificate/degree in Automotive/Diesel repair may be substituted for two (2) years of required experience on a year-for-year basis. Licenses and/or Certifications: * Within 90 days of hire obtain any four ASE certifications and maintain certifications. Eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for certifications with demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the position. * Must possess a valid driver's license. A valid Utah Commercial Driver License must be obtained within six months of hire and be maintained throughout employment. * State safety inspection certification for buses and heavy trucks must be obtained within 90 days of employment. * Refrigerant recovery and recycling certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
