Maintains good facility relations through prompt and courteous response to facility requests within the guidelines set forth by JLL and Client. Performs building and utility plant maintenance across the site including but not limited to carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, mill wright, and machinist functions. Monitor the quality of maintenance work performed by outside contractors and/or more junior staff. Work closely with contractors. Schedule: Full-time | On-site We are seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic to join our team in Silverdale, WA. The Forklift Mechanic will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklifts, pallet jacks, aerial boom lifts, and scissor lifts. Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks (2,000-70,000 lb. capacity), and other MHE. Dismantle and reassemble equipment to OEM specifications and Navy standards. Inspect and repair electric, diesel, propane, or gasoline-powered MHE and related systems. Troubleshoot and repair drive trains, hydraulic systems, brakes, and electrical systems. Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed. Research and identify replacement parts for order. Qualifications: Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a forklift, MHE, or heavy equipment mechanic in commercial or government settings.
