Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Diesel Mechanic specializing in trucks and heavy equipment, based in Waterbury, CT. Propane forklift experience is a plus. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and equipment essential to the company's operations. Daily tasks include conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and resolving issues with vehicles, cranes and forklifts. Must hold CT P1 license for plumbing and S2 license for heating. An F1 or F2 license for fire protection would be a plus. At least five (5) years experience in the plumbing trade and two (2) years experience in the operation, maintenance and repair of low pressure steam and circulating hot water boilers. Must have demonstrable experience in the servicing and maintaining of HVAC equipment, and working knowledge of pneumatic controls, air compressors, and related equipment.
