**Essential Responsibilities:**
+ Installs, inspects, and performs modifications and repairs to electrical power support systems such as electrical power plants and power distribution equipment.
+ Performs preventive maintenance on electrical power support systems. Performs major repair, replacement, and overhaul of power support system components such as diesel, multi-fuel, or gas engines, and electrical accessories of engines.
+ Troubleshoots electrical power support systems such as electrical power plants and power distribution equipment.
+ Maintains, inspects, repairs, diagnoses, and modifies aircraft arresting systems.
+ Maintains records and documents actions.
+ Performs standard computations relating to load requirements of electrical circuits.
+ Proficient in the use of electrical hand tools and test and measurement equipment.
+ Utilizes safety practices and procedures, follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
+ Guides and conducts on-the-job training for less experienced personnel.
+ Knowledge of principles of electricity (AC/DC), solid state circuitry, and safety rules and regulations pertaining to powered support systems. Knowledge of the theory and operation of internal combustion diesel and gasoline engines.
+ Knowledge of the operation of emergency generator power systems. Knowledge of regulations, procedures, and policies related to records maintenance and documentation.
+ Skill in reading, interpreting, and using wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, technical orders, technical publications, and similar guides.
+ Must be able to distinguish colors and shades of colors.
+ Skill in using hand and power tools, instruments, test equipment, and electrical meters to include special tools such as hydraulic knock-out tools, hammers, drills, valve spring compressors, and micrometers.
+ Skill in installing, operating, inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and modifying generators, automatic transfer switches, and uninterruptable power systems; and in maintaining, overhauling, repairing, and reconditioning internal combustion engines, both diesel and gasoline.
+ Skill in troubleshooting complex situations related to electrical power generators. Ability to apply shop procedures, policies, written and oral instructions, and directives sufficient to provide training to others.
+ Must be able to obtain an airfield driver's license; position requires a Secret Security clearance.
+ Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
**Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience in power generation equipment repairs.
+ Must be able to obtain and retain a Nevada driver's license.
+ Must accomplish OSHA 10-Hour Construction Training, maintain CPR/First Aid card, have the ability to obtain and retain a security clearance and access to the work location(s).
+ Must be a United States citizen, pass a pre-hire drug screening and Fit-for-Duty physical.
+ Must be able to work with minimal supervision or guidance, respond to service calls within the allowable time frame.
+ May have to drive a motor vehicle up to a 2 1/2 ton truck.
+ May be required to work other than normal duty hours which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
+ Emergency overtime may be required.
+ Will need to bring: Social Security Card, original state issued birth certificate or Naturalized Certificate and valid driver's license.
+ Must be willing to travel/work up to 50% of time.
**Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:**
Performs work that involves frequent bending, reaching, crouching, standing, and arm movement. Sometimes must work in awkward positions or cramped areas. Must frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and lift heavier items using jacks, hoists, or helpers. May work inside or outside. Inside work involves frequent exposure to drafts, changing temperature, and loud noise. Outside work may involve exposure to heat, bad weather, rain or snow, or wet or icy conditions. Both inside and outside, frequently exposed to irritation or discomfort from dust, heat, fumes, and hard damp floors or surfaces. May work on parts and systems which are dirty and greasy and which may be dangerous to operate or repair because of defects. Frequently exposed to the possibility of receiving cuts, burns, bruises, strains, and electrical shock while repairing, positioning, adjusting, and moving equipment, and is exposed to the possibility of receiving burns and skin irritations from acids, fluids, and lubricants. To reduce the dangers and irritations from the above conditions, the incumbent must follow numerous safety procedures and wear equipment such as protective eye glasses, ear devices, hard hats, hard-toe shoes, respirators, gloves, clothing, and arc flash gear. Some of these safety items may be uncomfortable to wear or use and may be worn or used for long periods.

What will you be doing?
The aircraft mechanic is responsible for performing various maintenance functions on company aircraft in accordance with all company policies and procedures as well as all federal aviation regulations.
Essential Functions
The Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic (“A&P Mechanic”) is a working member of the maintenance organization and is tasked with completing required maintenance on aircraft in a timely manner and in accordance with policy and procedure. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Perform and assist approved work by their leads within the scheduled shift.
Ensure completeness of all assigned work documents and records.
Seek on-the-job training during work shift to ensure proper qualification standards are met and maintained.
Has the authority to perform engine run and aircraft taxi as authorized by Frontier Airlines qualification
Has the authority to operate various ground support equipment (GSE) and passenger vehicles limited to airport operations movement area with a current and valid U.S. state issued motor vehicle driver's license, a Frontier Airlines driving endorsement, an airport qualification and a signed movement area limitation Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) on file.
Has the authority to operate various passenger vehicles on public roads and offsite facilities outside of airport operations area with a valid U.S. state issued motor vehicle driver's license in the operator's possession for 3 years, a Frontier Airlines driving endorsement and an airport qualification Coordinate all activities with lead mechanic in charge or station supervisor.
Research all pertinent information and material for work scheduled on aircraft.
Maintain cleanliness of maintenance areas at all times.
Ensure a “clean as you go” job ethic is adhered to.
Ensure that all maintenance areas meet good “housekeeping” standards.
Ensure that all tools (both personal and company owned) are removed from the aircraft, aircraft engines, appliances, and components.
Always maintain positive tool control accountability.
Immediately report lost and/or found tools to management.
Follow all rules and regulations in order to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Research all pertinent information and material for work scheduled on aircraft.
Input necessary data into the maintenance tracking software systems.
Enter completed work into maintenance tracking software systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with and implement the necessary procedures in the MEL/CDL/NEF Program.
Monitor the proper completion of aircraft records (e.g., logbook pages, work cards, non-routines, engineering documents [EOs, EAs, etc.], and other related documents).
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all assigned work documents and records.
Make FMIS entries as required.
Vol.D Maintain familiarization with the training requirements necessary as defined in the GMM 100: Maintenance Training Program and ensure training is current prior to performing the functions and tasks of this position.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Always follow (never deviate from) approved published procedures unless proper deviation is authorized.
Additional responsibilities, as follows, by job qualification area: Interior Crew - remove, repair, and reinstall aircraft interiors including seats, galleys, lavatories, sidewalls, ceilings, flooring, etc.
This is a bargaining unit position with schedule, shift and pay determined by seniority. All A&P Mechanics may be required to participate in AOG field trips as outlined in the labor contract.
Qualifications
FAA certificated mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
Must have the ability to acquire, hold, maintain, and execute the use of a valid motor vehicle driver's license
Requires two (2) years of experience performing maintenance in the following areas on A320 series or large similar type aircraft: maintenance checks, engine changes, gear changes, structural repairs, flight control rigging, component maintenance on A320 serious aircraft or on larger similar type aircraft or successful completion of accredited A&P mechanic training course.
When directed by management, must obtain taxi and run-up qualification on all aircraft types within six months of assignment in Line Maintenance

Mobile Equipment Mechanic
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the mobile equipment fleet in a state of readiness. Performs the appropriate vehicle/mobile equipment inspections and preventative maintenance. Performs required vehicle/mobile equipment repair maintenance. Informs supervisor of vehicle condition that could impact production. Prepares all required daily/weekly plant operating reports.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Tests mechanical products and equipment to ensure proper performance, and compliance with manufacturer's specifications
+ Repairs and replaces damaged, worn parts
+ Operates and inspects heavy equipment in order to diagnose defects
+ Diagnoses faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices
+ Dismantles and reassembles heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools
+ Cleans, lubricates and performs routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles
+ Examines parts for damage and excessive wear, using micrometers or gauges
+ Schedules maintenance for industrial machines and equipment, and keeps equipment service records
+ Reads and interprets manuals, blueprints and technical drawings
+ Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems
+ Stays abreast of new technology and methodology through on-the-job training and technical schools
+ Adheres to all safety protocol to include confined space entry, lock-out-tag-out, working at heights, wearing appropriate safety glasses, gloves and other personal protective equipment, as well as all OSHA, MSHA requirement
