This job entails physically demanding work including nearly continuous standing, walking, bending, crouching, and stooping throughout the entire shift. Position Description:
Individual will remove, repair, replace, and install various sizes and types of gas piping; investigate and repair gas odor complaints; operate various types of pavements breaking and road cutting equipment; and operate a backhoe and dump truck. The selected candidate must also perform walking leak surveys; perform underground utility mark outs; and perform drilling and tapping of various sizes and types of gas mains. Individual will be required during periods of trouble call assignment to make themselves available at their reporting base within approximately 30 minutes. Selected candidates will be subject to work shift work. Holding a Commercial Driver's License is preferred.
Starting Rate of Pay: $31.32 per hour
