Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete repairs on all types of fleet and warehouse equipment including but not limited to: Electric Forklifts, Floor Scrubber, Electric Pallet Jacks, Company Pickup Truck, Pallet Moles, and Dock Door.
Performs preventative maintenance on all Fleet and dock doors using prescribed checklists along with identifying and reporting all unsafe conditions.
Complete work orders in a timely manner maintaining high quality standards Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Manage parts inventory and accurately charging parts and labor to work orders.
Perform inspections of work performed by outside vendors prior to putting back in-service

Respond to fleet service calls, pick-up and delivery of vehicles and parts.
Maintain shop tools and equipment to company standards.

Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
Experience with commercial truck repair in manufacturing environment preferred.
Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting
Power transmission troubleshooting
Fabricating and/or machining ability

Knowledge of 12/48 volt, propane control power

Studies technical publications, specifications, and repair procedures. Completes all training deemed appropriate for position. Seeks self-improvement through classes, seminars, etc., that are job related.
Responsible for maintenance and repair on vehicles assigned to other FDACS divisions such as Marketing and the Office of Inspector General.

Minimum Qualifications:

Maintain mechanical rotating, reciprocating, stationary, vessel, bin, or pipe that is related to the production and well-being of our facilities
Perform shutdown processes, transfers, and/or tasks, due to unsafe conditions to protect personnel, environment, product quality, or company assets
Enlist other employees to solve problems or troubleshoot the operation
Be knowledgeable of safety and environmental hazard
Inspect and maintain personal protective equipment and report deficiencies to appropriate supervisory personnel
Perform Preventative Maintenance
Be able to use hand tools such as end wrenches, impacts, hammers, and screwdrivers. A variety of tools, including sledgehammers, torque wrenches, dial indicators, feeler gauges, hydraulic rams, and other precise measuring equipment must also be used in some of the fabrication and installation tasks the mechanics required to perform
Understand that the use of oxygen/acetylene hand welding equipment is often used
Perform routine replacement of gears, bearings, motors
Troubleshooting skills and taking corrective action
Capable of working with little or no immediate supervision
What you will bring:
High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
1st Class Industrial Maintenance Mechanic- Skills Assessment Required/Class B CDL Preferred
2nd Class Industrial Maintenance Mechanic- 2 years experience in an industrial setting or certificate from a technical school
Driver's License, Required (Operating Company Vehicles)
Testing Requirements for Hourly Applicants
All hourly applicants must complete the Florida Ready to Work or National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) assessment. A minimum score of 3 in Math, 3 in Reading, and 3 in Data is required to be considered eligible for employment with Nutrien.
Applicants must also complete the Florida Ready to Work Soft Skills Assessment and achieve a "Passed" status.
Both certificates (Florida Ready to Work or NCRC and Soft Skills) must be uploaded along with your resume when submitting your application.
