* Responsible for HVAC systems that support a wide variety of nonstandard commercial applications including restaurants, theaters, concert halls, opera houses, large interior and exterior event spaces, parking garages, and office space.
* Inspects, constructs, installs, maintains, repairs, controls, diagnoses, troubleshoots, modifies, relocates, and loads and tests a wide variety of HVAC systems. Use Building Automation Systems to diagnose, adjust, set and monitor temperatures and humidities as required.
* Recognizes or diagnoses the electrical or electronic faults in HVAC equipment and makes repairs.
* Troubleshoots electronics in order to isolate cause of malfunction in components and works on electrical components that include series, parallel, compound lines and circuits for single and multiple phase alternating current.

* Responsible for HVAC systems that support a wide variety of nonstandard commercial applications including restaurants, theaters, concert halls, opera houses, large interior and exterior event spaces, parking garages, and office space.
* Inspects, constructs, installs, maintains, repairs, controls, diagnoses, troubleshoots, modifies, relocates, and loads and tests a wide variety of HVAC systems. Use Building Automation Systems to diagnose, adjust, set and monitor temperatures and humidities as required.
* Recognizes or diagnoses the electrical or electronic faults in HVAC equipment and makes repairs.
* Troubleshoots electronics in order to isolate cause of malfunction in components and works on electrical components that include series, parallel, compound lines and circuits for single and multiple phase alternating current.
* Installs, inspects, modifies, maintains, repairs, and operates controls for variable frequency drives, switch gear, and motor controllers.
* Repairs or replaces defective motors, transformers, contractors, relays, breakers, programmable logic controllers, circuit boards and thermostats.
* Installs feeder and branch circuits of all sizes and in correctly sized conduit.

Work of this position involves pushing, pulling, or carrying of objects of varying sizes and shapes, weighing up to 50 pounds.Incumbent works in confined areas such as attics, near ceilings, in utility corridors, etc. Incumbent will work from various heights on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding. Duties are performed both inside and outside in weather conditions varying from hot, humid summer heat to below freezing winter temperatures.
