Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience
Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
Performs oil changes, fluid changes and power flushes and other basic services.
Utilizes the company's Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to properly document the vehicle condition

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
The Junior Automotive Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.

The A&P Mechanic maintains the Company's aircraft in a safe and airworthy condition according to the Company maintenance manual and FAR regulations. Conducts or assists with all inspections and repairs on aircraft and aircraft sub-assemblies and performs required documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Performs scheduled maintenance on aircraft, as assigned.
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of completed tasks.
Troubleshoots and repairs damaged, worn, or defective mechanical components.
Performs pre-flight and post-flight inspections on aircraft as time permits.
Reports discrepancies to Maintenance Manager or Pilot in Command.
Document maintenance activities.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have an A&P certificate with 4+ years of general aviation maintenance experience. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Diagnose and repair various pieces of heavy equipment, including but not limited to vibroseis vehicles (vibes), diesel trucks and generators, rough terrain vehicles (RTV's) and passenger vans. The following are examples of what systems the Mechanic will have to maintain/repair:

The Mechanic is a Full-time position working in remote isolated outdoor environments, subject to extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow and sudden changes in temperatures. The Mechanic works 7 days per week, with long hours and normally extensive overtime. A 30 day on/10 day off schedule is assigned. Job Description
A&P Mechanics play a key role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of customer aircraft. You'll troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance tasks while working closely with clients to find solutions.
Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and maintain aircraft.
Document work per manuals and regulatory requirements.
Follow safety and Environmental Health & Safety policies.
Participate in 5S activities to maintain a clean workspace.
Operate ground support equipment as required.
Perform mechanical/electrical component removals and installations.
Provide off-site maintenance support when needed.
Assist with fueling, engine removal/installation, and component repairs
Qualifications
Valid A&P license.
3+ years of experience with heavy maintenance aircraft (fixed-wing, rotary, or military; business aircraft preferred).
Own basic hand tools and manage tool inventory.
US Citizenship or authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
