The Senior Technical Designer is a key member of the design team responsible for ensuring that design concepts are executed with precision, fit consistency, and adherence to brand standards. The Senior Technical Designer brings advanced technical knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to mentor junior team members through example and expertise.

Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Create detailed flat and technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator to accurately convey design and construction intent.
Clearly communicate pattern corrections during fittings and through written fit comments, including illustrated notes. While not responsible for patternmaking, must demonstrate a strong understanding of pattern adjustments and their impact on garment fit and construction.
Possess a solid understanding of grading principles for assigned classifications and effectively collaborate with Design to ensure accurate size consistency.
Develop comprehensive spec sheets within tech packs to define garment fit and measurements, ensuring all dimensions align with feasible pattern execution.
Create and maintain departmental tools-such as construction standards, block body spreadsheets, and fit reference materials-and distribute them to Design and Sourcing teams each season.
Partner with Design and Merchandising to align on fit and construction standards, supporting brand consistency and aesthetic integrity.
Maintain organized systems and templates (tech packs, tracking reports, block body spreadsheets, etc.) that support departmental efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate closely with Design to interpret and clarify design intent, identify deviations from standards, and provide solutions that maintain brand integrity.
Lead proto, fit, and pre-production (PP) sample fittings with Design, providing fit direction, identifying deviations from brand aesthetics, and ensuring accurate execution through cutting, pinning, draping, and photo documentation.
Deliver detailed and visually supported fit comments, including annotated sketches created in Adobe Illustrator.
Participate in Work in Progress (WIP) meetings with clear talking points and reports to update cross-functional partners on style and fit status.
Demonstrate cross-team flexibility by supporting additional brand technical design teams as needed during lower-volume periods.
Build and maintain organized fit and construction libraries to ensure departmental consistency and efficiency.

This position reports directly to the regional Assistant Port Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Take supervision and direction from the Assistant Port Engineer and Port Engineer.
* Provides support and coverage to Assistant Port Engineers.
* Identifies and troubleshoots technical vessel problems and provides fast solutions to minimize downtime.
* Expedites vendors for critical repairs.
* Coordinates and communicates with Marine Operations for critical repairs and determines a timeline for resolution.
* Manages warranties and coordinates extended warranties for technical equipment.
* Ensures competitive bidding and negotiates costs on purchases.
* Manages expenses and assists with the annual winter maintenance budget.
* Maintains responsibility for record keeping, including machinery history, parts inventory and reporting data to the Assistant Port Engineer.
* Coordinates large scale projects such as ship refits and dry dockings.
* Visits each ship at least three times a month. One of these visits shall include a full ship condition inspection.
* Provides technical information and guidance to shipboard Engineers and crew directly, as directed by the Assistant Port Engineers.
* Interfaces with Marine Operations and Hotel Operations.
* Ensures vessel compliance with all USCG, USPH, FDA, EPA, and other federal regulations
* Performs other duties as directed.

Licenses and Registrations:
* Valid driver's license.
* Possess a Valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card).
Required Education and Experience:
* Must be at least 18 years old.
* High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent related experience.
Typical Work Environments:
* This position includes a high level of travel to Fleet concentration areas.
* Frequently underway time for short durations performing, testing, inspections, ship checks, and other events as needed. Travel up to 80% of the time.
* Vendor maintenance shops, paint shop, various buildings and storage areas.
* Vessel engine room, bow thruster space and various void spaces throughout vessel.
Additional Requirements:
* Subject to a background investigation.
* Subject to a pre-employment physical.
* Ability to frequently traverse stairs, fixed ladders and ladder-wells while walking ships on a daily basis.
* Wherewithal to spend several consecutive days at sea while underway as needed.
* Capable of sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, crouching and kneeling.
* Reaching, handling, using equipment, keyboards and mobile devices.
* Lifting boxes (files and supplies) up to 20 lb.

We're looking for a hands-on Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team to strengthen the security posture of our applications, data, infrastructure, and processes.
The role combines both hands-on technical expertise to uncover and remediate vulnerabilities and people skills to partner with various teams across the firm, guide teams to analyze the security implications of design decisions and guide them to build security into their applications from the ground up.
The role will leverage your hands-on offensive background to identify threats and require you to dive deep into the technical details and help build tailored security solutions and develop creative approaches to complex challenges. This role will require practical threat modeling skills and the ability to translate security principles into concrete architectural improvements.
The role also involves having conversations with system owners who understand their applications but may not recognize potential exploits, partnering with them to identify and help resolve vulnerabilities, and balancing tradeoffs between security controls and business requirements.
As a member of the Cybersecurity team, you'll join a skilled group of programmers and security experts dedicated to keeping the firm safe. Our work covers a wide range of topics, from software engineering and DevOps to risk analysis, security governance, and cyber awareness.
