This role supports the design, integration, testing, and sustainment of Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) mechanical and hydraulic systems, as well as related shipboard interfaces, components, and support structures. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (BSME) in Mechanical Engineering and eight (8) or more years of relevant experience. Experience in the design, development, and integration of mechanical or hydraulic systems in a maritime, aerospace, or defense environment. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CREO, AutoCAD) and mechanical modeling tools. Understanding of structural design principles, material selection, and mechanical stress analysis.
