Key Responsibilities: As a Mechanical Design Engineer II at Interface, you will be learning the most advanced, high performance, and sustainable design techniques from discipline leaders on multiple projects. Your duties will include (but may not be limited to):
Engineering Design Team: Participating as a critical member of a multi-disciplinary engineering and design team for a wide array of project types and sizes. Taking a leadership role under the supervision of a Senior Mechanical Engineer and/or PE. Performing HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing designs for commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, biotech, transportation, and other industries using Revit.
Management: Working under the guidance of a Professional Engineer with project oversight, scheduling, task delegation, and mentorship.
Project Tasks: Responsible to project managers for scope, schedule, budget, and discipline coordination for assigned projects.
Client Management: Responsible for project task deliverables leading to client satisfaction and repeat business with assigned clients.
Project Financial Management: Responsible for containing project costs, working efficiently within assigned project scopes.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree - Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years' MEP consulting and design experience in Hawaii.
Experience with HVAC load calculations and duct sizing.
Working Autodesk REVIT knowledge

The Role: What You'll Actually Be Responsible For
As a Project Engineer, you'll be a critical connector between the field, the office, and the design team-ensuring projects stay aligned, informed, and moving forward.
Project Execution & Coordination
Support the planning, organization, and execution of vertical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

What You Will Do
As a Project Engineer in our Drilling Division, you'll be the right hand to the Project Manager, driving every technical and operational detail that keeps our drilling projects on track and on budget. You'll plan, coordinate, and support all engineering aspects-from kickoff to closeout.
