About the Role: INNIO is seeking an IT Application Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance our CAD and PLM ecosystem, primarily focused on PTC Windchill and PTC Creo Parametric. In this role, you'll work closely with engineering and IT stakeholders to streamline processes, drive system improvements, and ensure the stability and usability of core engineering applications. You'll help shape our long-term application strategy while supporting day-to-day operational needs across the engineering community. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate platform releases to ensure smooth deployments with minimal disruption. Lead the design and execution of upgrades for Windchill PLM and the Creo CAD environment. Partner with engineering and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions. Evaluate engineering tools and contribute to overall IT architecture direction. Manage the IT issue backlog, working with internal teams and external vendors to drive resolutions. Develop KPIs and reporting to measure platform performance and success. Provide guidance and support to engineers, IT team members, and third-party partners regarding CAD/PLM processes and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill (including modules such as PDMLink, PTC Navigate, RV&S). Experience with PTC Creo Parametric. Strong background in administering and supporting CAD and PLM environments. Understanding of CAD/PLM methodologies, BOM management, and engineering change processes. Experience with data migration or data classification is highly valued. Familiarity with Oracle ERP, SQL, and relational databases is a plus. Experience with other CAD or PDM/PLM tools is beneficial. Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Salary: $90,000-$110,000 100% onsite Mechanical Design Engineer needed to help create high-performance equipment used by leading manufacturers worldwide. If you enjoy solving mechanical challenges, working in 3D CAD, and seeing your designs come to life on the production floor, this role is for you. What You'll Do Design cookers, melters, depositors, extruders, and other processing equipment from concept to production. Develop detailed SolidWorks models and drawings using strong GD&T fundamentals. Apply hygienic design standards (3-A, FDA, USDA) and select proper food-grade materials. Perform engineering analysis (thermal, stress, performance) for high-temperature, continuous-duty applications. Collaborate with process engineers and customers to meet product and performance requirements. Support prototype builds, FAT/SAT testing, and design-for-manufacturing improvements. Create technical documentation and troubleshoot field issues as needed.
