We are in search of a CAD Drafting Supervisor to join our diverse and dynamic organization. As a core team member of our Power Delivery Solutions Division, you will be interacting with an established group of engineers, designers and drafters, playing a valuable part in executing drafting of accurate drawing packages for utility power delivery projects, using MicroStation and AutoCAD.

As a CAD Supervisor you can expect:
Supervise, mentor, and develop CAD technicians and designers focused on substation engineering.
Assign and manage drafting workloads to meet project deadlines and budget constraints, and ensuring Time Sold metrics are maintained.
Plan and coordinate drawing deliverables with substation engineers and project managers.
Maintain and enforce substation-specific CAD standards, templates, symbols, and libraries and driving client specific CAD templates/profiles.
Perform QA/QC checks to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and meet client and industry standards expectations.
Oversee drafting workflows including redline incorporation, revision control, and file management.
Coordinate interdisciplinary drawing needs between physical, structural, civil, and P&C design teams.
Prepare CAD labor estimates and support proposals with drafting resource planning.
Provide technical expertise in AutoCAD, MicroStation, AutoCAD Electrical, and Civil 3D.
Troubleshoot CAD issues and provide production support for complex substation drawings.
Ensure proper use of XREFs, reference files, model/paper space practices, and version control.
Maintain and improve block libraries, symbol sets, and automated tools (LISP routines, scripts, macros).
Support the implementation and use of document management systems such as ProjectWise or Vault.
Evaluate and support adoption of new CAD technologies, including 3D/built-environment tools.
Train staff on CAD standards, utility requirements, workflows, and software updates.
Document best practices, drafting procedures, and internal workflow guidelines.
Incorporate field redlines and ensure accurate as-built drawing updates.
Promote a collaborative, efficient, and quality-focused drafting team culture.
What you will bring to the table (Required Qualifications):
AS degree in Drafting and Design Degree from an accredited institution. HS diploma or Drafting Certificate with additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
5-10 years of drafting and detailing experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation. Coursework + project experience will be considered.
4+ Years of experience with direct report supervision and day-to-day people leadership
Proficiency with the manipulation of vector and raster drawing files in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Ability to produce complete substation drawing packages including physical layouts, structural details, grounding and conduit plans, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, control house layouts, cable schedules.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to uphold standards while supporting a collaborative work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with electric utility projects and physical drawings
Experience with file sharing, document management and collaboration tools such as ProjectWise, FTP, SharePoint, etc.
Ability to work with the Engineering Manager and other Leads/Supervisors to assign and schedule the day-to-day work of individual CAD operators, assigning/changing priorities and monitoring status
Experience in Doc Control, Drawing Records Management, Preliminary and final IFC issuance
The ability to understand and implement a wide range of client CAD standards.
Experience with 3-D modelling in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
Knowledge of VBA and/or AutoLisp.

The Principal MechanicalEngineer will participate in the design and rapid prototyping of engines and other mechanical systems for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs). Job Responsibilities

Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams, present technical designs and solutions, and manage projects efficiently from conception to completion.

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,900.00 - $148,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
