The Role As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering inputs integral to both small and large-scale hydro and dam projects. Conduct site investigations, condition assessments, and provide design and construction support. Contribute to the development of the hydro-mechanical practice at KGS by assisting the US mechanical design lead by documenting technical knowledge, improving internal production processes, coordinating and developing internal training content, and other tasks. Perform other duties as assigned. About You To fill the role, we're looking for an applicant to bring forward a good mix of qualifications and previous experiences. Some highlights should include: Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university. A post-graduate degree would be an asset. Minimum of 7-15 years of experience in mechanical engineering. Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Washington, Oregon, or California, as well as eligible for registration as a professional engineer in other states by comity through NCEES; or, if not already registered as a PE, would be able to obtain licensure within 1 year from date of hire. Previous consulting experience is preferred, but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage several projects simultaneously. Purpose: The Project Engineer (PE) works with our team of other Engineers, Sales, and field staff to support Maxim's fleet of rental equipment. The PE will assess project lifting requirements and develop accurate technical drawings and supporting documentation for equipment installations and lift plans. Chemical Engineer About the Job Thatcher Company is seeking a Process Engineer to join our engineering team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will provide process engineering and technical support to plant operations, capital projects, and other teams. You will work closely with operations and the business team to identify process improvement opportunities, implement plant improvement projects, and drive innovative solutions.
