This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate or someone who has completed a technical drafting program (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar), and is eager to begin building a career in mechanical/HVAC design.

Role Responsibilities
Assist in the design and production of mechanical building systems, including HVAC, piping, and other related mechanical components.
Create and revise AutoCAD and/or Revit drawings, 3D models, and construction documents under the guidance of senior staff.
Support engineers with calculations, equipment selection, and basic system layouts.
Help prepare project deliverables such as plans, specifications, and reports.
Coordinate with internal team members to ensure accurate, high-quality design documents.
Participate in site visits to document existing conditions (with team guidance).
Maintain organized project files and support overall project workflow.

Responsibilities
This role will be heavily active in the field during the construction phase of a project, coordinating with subcontractors and crews, verifying quality of work, answering engineering questions and/or resolving issues that may pop up in real time.
Assist in development of project plan as requested. Specifically, provide support to Project Manager(s) through helping to develop business cases by gathering requirements, building investment decision models, etc.
Collaborate with the Project Manager(s) in purchasing activities including scoping and take-offs.
Prepare and forward submittals. Confirm submittal complies with plans/specs.
Support the development and updating of the project schedule and subcontractor detail schedules.
Monitor and expedite material deliveries ensuring all deliveries conform with the project schedule.
Administer subcontracts as assigned.
Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in the coordination of drawings.
Draft change orders. Solicit prices from subcontractors and suppliers. Perform scope take-off and estimate costs.
Aid in close out of project; includes assembling manuals and other warranties for turnover to owner and preparation final payment documents for subcontractors.
Act as the point person for document management applications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related degree or equivalent experience.
Must have 1-4 years of experience in the related field.
Working knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines such as civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, piping, geotechnical, and surveying.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and prepare them when applicable.
Ability to read and understand Project financial documents and budgets and prepare them when applicable.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with hands-on skills in designing automation equipment. The position will include designing, supervising the manufacture, installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of industrial automation equipment. The candidate will support process optimization efforts throughout the facility. We are seeking a motivated Civil Project Engineer to play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of educational, sports, and other land/site development projects. The project engineer will work closely with our civil engineering and architecture teams to support the development of municipal parks and recreation, K-12, higher education, professional athletic facilities, and other land/site development projects, ensuring projects are designed with functionality, sustainability, and safety in mind.
Your Impact:
Assist in Design: Collaborate with the civil and architectural teams in designing site plans, utilities, drainage, and grading solutions.
Site Evaluation: Conduct site visits and help prepare reports, documenting site conditions and potential challenges related to athletic, educational, and other site development facilities.
CAD Drafting: Work with CAD staff to modify and update design drawings using AutoCAD or other relevant design software. Aid in developing civil engineering plans, including sports field layouts, stormwater management systems, transportation access, and utility layouts.
Technical Support: Prepare engineering-related calculations and specifications. Perform drainage system design and calculations including stormwater management systems and storm sewer sizing. Perform water distribution and sanitary sewer collection system design and calculations.
Collaboration: Work alongside other engineers, architects, landscape architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between civil engineering designs and architectural goals, specifically tailored to sports and educational environments.
Sustainability Focus: Participate in projects aimed at creating environmentally responsible and energy-efficient facilities.
Regulatory Research: Assist in researching local, state, and federal codes and regulations relevant to the project, including the different levels of athletic facilities.
Documentation and Reports: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentation materials for review by senior engineers and project managers.

Here's What You'll Need:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field, from an ABET accredited university required.
Applicants for this position are expected to have 2-5 years of experience since graduation working in the A/E/C industry. Previous full-time experience related to land/site development design in Florida is a plus but not required.
Engineering Intern (EI) License required. Passed Florida PE Exam preferred, with the expectation of obtaining a Florida Professional Engineering license once qualified.
Highly proficient with AutoCAD drafting skills, with a working knowledge of Civil 3D.
Highly proficient with design software such as StormWise, StormCAD, WaterCAD, or other industry-related software.
Highly proficient with MS Office suite.
