As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating 3D CAD models and piece part drawings using Inventor. Key Responsibilities: Be able to create complete solid models with pre-assigned part numbers; The designer will try to utilize existing parts but if they do not exist, a new part number will need to be created. Pride with modeling accuracy and drawing detailing is critical. This includes proper mating, constraints, and modeling consistency. Communicate realistic due dates for project completion. Complete 3D model with all parts pre-assigned and fully detailed in case the project needs to be reassigned. Prepare approval drawings in a standardized format for the customer's review. Prepare piece part drawings of the entire assembly after project approval. Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for the project both on the drawings and in EPR system. Complete release sheets so projects can be released to the shop. Correct errors when requested. Other duties as assigned. This Designer / Drafter role focuses on developing fabrication and assembly drawings for products such as natural gas line heaters, industrial water heaters, and glycol dehydration units, working closely with Project Engineering to meet customer and production requirements.
