This role requires expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings. The ideal candidate will work with a team of engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet technical specifications, budget, and timeline requirements. This position is contingent upon contract award. What You Will Do Works closely with design originators preparing drawings of unusual, complex or original design. Prepares drawings, which require a high degree of precision. Performs unusually difficult assignments requiring considerable initiative, resourcefulness, and drafting expertise. Assures that anticipated problems in manufacture, assembly, installation and operation are resolved by the drawing produced.
