Position Summary
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will serve as a lead contributor on project teams designing, building, and deploying custom automated equipment. Key Responsibilities
Design custom automation equipment and integrated systems for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical products
Develop complete machine layouts through detailed component design
Work with vendors to properly size and specify purchased components
Generate Bills of Material (BOMs), assembly drawings, and detailed manufacturing drawings
Lead and support shop assemblers to ensure designs are built to specification

Qualifications

Engineering Responsibilities:

Meet with project managers and other team members on a regular basis in order to receive and coordinate goals, schedules, timelines, and updates pertaining to all active projects.
Engage in regular communication with project managers and other team members in regard to the status and progress of activities and timelines for assigned tasks.

The candidate will have experience in stormwater management design and grading, utility design, drainage, soil erosion and sediment control design, and land use process in New Jersey. Job Responsibilities:
Provide project and technical support for major engineering design projects including site layout, grading, stormwater management, drainage/conveyance system design, and related supporting disciplines.

Proficient skills in:
Technical writing
State and federal regulations
Local and county zoning regulations and ordinances
Interpretation of data and observations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
