Goal of the Position: Ensure manufacturing processes are established and capable of meeting both internal and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up equipment and processes to support series manufacturing, ensuring operations align with project process calculations (PK).
Facilitate all process and engineering changes within the facility, coordinating with headquarters. This includes electronic document collection and file organization.
Manage SAP SCASE tasks, including setting up Excel BOMs, SAP routings, SAP BOMs, and handling plant/local MDM activities.
Conduct and present time studies, yamazumi, line-balancing, and initiate one-piece flow processes in coordination with the EPS department.
Improve production and material flow through the manufacturing lines.
Facilitate all new launch projects and transfers within the facility, acting as a backup to the Launch Manager. Maintain project relocation checklists until completion.
Develop initial operator instructions, standardized operating instructions, and first part releases.
Conduct process trials and DOE studies on various processes/equipment.
Create technical documents for manufacturing parameters and processing windows.
Develop technical documents (SOW) and drawings (CAD, etc.) to build equipment and fixtures.
Address manufacturing concerns (scrap, productivity, and equipment issues) using problem-solving techniques.
Support EGA Systems: IATF 16949, ISO27001, ISO14001, Gemba, 2S1Y, etc.
Professional Requirements:
High School diploma/GED plus Associates Degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
Preferred background in Automotive, Industrial, Mechanical, or General fields.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Experience in process and product development is preferred.
