Key Responsibilities: As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will work under the guidance of a mentor and assist engineering teams with a variety of tasks. Your responsibilities may include: Participate in the design, development, and analysis of mechanical components and systems for aerospace applications, including high-energy pulsed power systems, large ground-based satellite antennas, military aircraft antennas, and/or space batteries systems. Create and modify 3D CAD models and generate technical drawings in accordance with industry drafting standards. Participate in prototype fabrication, assembly, and testing. Perform laboratory activities including test planning, execution, data acquisition, and analysis. Perform basic engineering calculations (structural and thermal analysis) using hand-calcs and/or simulation tools to support design efforts.
