This position is Full-Time, Exempt, and reports to the Director-DER of the Development Team. **Qualifications** Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications - Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a four-year ABET accredited university. - Registered Professional Engineer (PE) - Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and aptitude. - Required experience in Excel and Word. - Ability to communicate effectively with facility managers and engineers. - Ability to work independently to meet deadlines while on survey. - Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines. - Ability to use technology and apps for collecting data while on survey. - Passion for quality and client satisfaction. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment. - Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors. - Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary. Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications - Prefer 5-10 years of energy-related client interface for an engineering design firm. - Preferred experience with building energy services in the health and higher-education fields. - Experience with mechanical and electrical schematic design drawings and scoping documents - Participation in industry organizations and attends events, meetings, and activities. Travel Requirements - 25% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location. A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking an Energy Engineer to help them support project aspects including project management, operations, maintenance and energy audits. Your Day Includes Conduct site walk-throughs of current technologies, including cost, maintenance, and other pertinent information. Assess and research existing site energy usage to identify areas of improvement. Work collaboratively with other engineers in developing new or reviewing existing plans. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for resources and project completion. Support all project aspects including energy audits. Must Haves Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering, and PE certification is desired 5 or more years of experience in field Certified Commissioning Professional P.S.
