What You Will Do
Support manufacturing floor to investigate mechanical test equipment issues.
Create/Update CAD drawings to implement improvements of test equipment to enhance performance of work area and mitigate equipment structural fatigue.
Provide support interpreting fixture drawing features and tolerances leading to hardware verification.
Support the Metrology Lab with the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for complex measurements to verify conformance of parts to specifications.
Assist Technicians and Customers with qualification of new or revised fixtures or tooling.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
1+ years of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to generate/update drawings. (i.e. AutoCAD, Pro/E)
1+ years Systems installation, integration, and test experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
